Uglies

As another person posted, just plop the biscuits into the muffin tins and form a well. Very easy & very tasty. The bbq sauce is what makes them--we love using Sweet Baby Rays. YUM!!! :)

The Best Frikin' Party Dip Ever!

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I just had this dip last night for the first time--it was actually made by a friend, and I forgot to ask for the recipe so I jumped on allrecipes & here it is! She actually made it with mild sausage, cream cheese & the rotel. Then, she added cheddar cheese to the top & served it all with large fritos scoops. Delicious! I can't wait to make this for my hubby!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
I absolutely LOVE this recipe! I have made it for a few years, and always get a ton of compliments. Yes, the canned chicken doesn't have the most pleasant smell when you open it, but it's wonderful in this dip. Also, I would definitely stick with the ranch dressing, as the recipe states. Blue cheese might be great for dipping wings in, but it's no wonder some people don't eat it after people substitute it--I'm not a fan of blue cheese, and would not try it in the dip. If you want a perfect dip, make it the exact way it is stated. Also, the chicken flavored crackers (i.e., Chicken in a Biscuit) is the best way to eat this dip--it rounds out the flavors. I would also recommend Hidden Valley for the ranch dressing--I used Kraft one time, and it did not have the same yummy results.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
This is such a wonderful recipe! I tend to make the same things over and over, and almost always try recipes that have cream cheese in it (my weakness!) It was so wonderful to taste flavors that I hadn't had tasted before. This made such a delicious creamy sauce--which was even better the next day! My husband's only complaint was the taste of the wine (he doesn't like "winey" flavors), but my three kids and I loved it, so he'll just have to deal with it because I'll be making this many times. :)

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
Amazing! My husband said that this is his new favorite recipe! I did double the recipe for the sauce, and cut the roast into 1 - 1 1/2 inch slices, just so it would cook faster and so we could be sure it was cooked thoroughly. (Don't know if that made a difference with the pork absorbing even more juice?) I was afraid it might end up too dry (which usually happens when we cook pork), but it was so extremely moist all the way through. My three kids (ages 1-5) and husband LOVED it, so it will definitely be a regular item in this household. Thanks for sharing such an amazing (and easy) recipe!!!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
I made this exactly as it was written, and it has come out perfect every time. I do use a KitchenAid mixer, with the wisk attachment--just be sure you only put it on the second level--medium on the KitchenAid is NOT the same as medium on a hand mixer. The batter is always very fluffy when I put it in. Also, I can only find cake mix with pudding in the mix, and I STILL add the pudding, and it comes out wonderful! Just be sure to follow this recipe exactly, and you should have no problems! (Be sure to only let it cool for 10 minutes--if you let it cool too long in the pan, it could end up sticking.) Also, I recommend trying it at least once with the Almond Extract (as the recipe calls for.) I'm not a huge fan of nutty flavors, but Almond is known to bring out more of the chocoltae flavor, which it does. If you don't try it, you don't know what you are missing! :)

Best Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
This was good, but it seemed to taste a little "too" peanutty, so I added a couple of dashes red pepper flakes and some ground ginger, and that really made the taste incredible. My only gripe is that the sauce gets really thick as it cools, but the taste is there! :)

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I absolutely adore this recipe--it has become one of my favorite comfort foods! To make it even easier, I usually just pick up a rotisserie chicken from the market and use that meat for the lasagna. It always comes out very flavorful. A favorite, though, was when I used a pre-marinated lemon and garlic turkey tenderloin in place of the chicken. The flavors were amazing! I'll never get enough of this dish!

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I always follow this recipe exactly, and it comes out perfect every time. We serve it over white rice (which I make with leftover chicken broth.) What's great is that IF there are any leftovers, the flavors mingle and are even better the next day! This is a recipe that my entire family (including 3 kids under 6) loves.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Yum!!! This was so easy and flavorful. I love that you can easily change the flavor to your liking just by changing the BBQ sauce. We like using Sweet Baby Ray's. My whole family loves this recipe!

Kielbasa and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
The taste of this recipe was excellent! The flavor of the Kielbasa was absorbed into the potatoes, which were cooked to perfection. We followed the recipe exactly--the only issue I had was that when we dug into the dish it was a bit watery. Not really sure how to correct that. Otherwise, my family (including 3 kids under 6) loved it, and we definitely plan on making again!

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2006
Extremely delicious and easy! Mine took a little bit longer to cook (around 80 min.), but I'm also at a high altitude, and used a water bath, so I'm sure that's why. Because of the water bath, I had absolutely no cracking. Very creamy recipe. I made as instructed, and am very excited to make another with a fruit topping! Thanks for sharing!!!

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
I made this EXACTLY as the recipe stated, and it came out very good. I squeezed the bread together to fit into the pan, and didn't change any of the measurements. If you like your french toast crispy, this isn't the recipe for you. If you want to try a fluffier, creamier french toast, then this is the recipe for you. I made it for Christmas morning, and got rave reviews.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
This recipe is so good, and very easy to make! I made it with milk chocolate chips (that's what I had on hand), and it was great! I plan on making other ones with different chips & nuts (like white choc. and macadamia nuts.) I would definitely recommend using parchment paper, as it made the squares very easy to handle, and there was practically no mess. Also, be sure to use a baking pan/sheet with sides. I learned the hard way that the toffee spreads a little when baking, so I almost had it go over the sides! I would also recommend putting the pan in the freezer after you have baked it (and it has cooled to the touch)--it makes the toffee easier to handle, and it cools a lot quicker. Great recipe!!!

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2004
This is wonderful! My husband and my 2 year old son loved it!!! I'm not even a big veggie fan, and I loved it, too! I also omitted the salt, and even found (after a couple of times running out of ingredients) that I could do without the egg and onions, and it still tasted great! Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Au Gratin Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2001
I absolutely LOVE this recipe! I was a little worried about the cornflakes, and was tempted to adjust the recipe a little, but my husband recommended I try it as listed first. Well, I'm glad that I did because it turned out great! I did use the already shredded potatoes, though, which made it a lot easier. I also added a little garlic powder & seasoning salt, because I thought it may be bland, but I don't think it actually changed anything. I told my husband that it was supposed to have green onions (which I don't really like), and he was dissapointed that I didn't add those. I even brought leftovers to work the next day, and everyone at work just HAD to konw what that yummy side dish was that I was eating! Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe...it's now a favorite in our family, too!!!

Easiest BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2001
My husband and I loved this recipe! I have to be honest, I was a little wierded out by the combination of ketchup & cream of mushroom soup, but it turned out great! Next time, I think that I will make mashed potatoes, to use with the leftover "gravy." It was just wonderful, and so easy!
