Rosemary Pasta in Roasted Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
I used dried rosemary, but next time will try fresh. I replaced half the butter with olive oil. Served with Sweet Potato Gnocchi from this site and it was a great combo.

Exactly what I was looking for. Wonderful texture and very subtle flavor. I used whole wheat flour. Served with Rosemary Pasta Roasted Garlic Sauce from this site.

Sweet Potato Puffs

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
We didn't care for these. They were much too sweet. I think I was expecting less of a mashed potato consistency and more of a crispy outside...? I didn't see where the "Puff" part of this was. The flavor wasn't bad though--much like a sweet potato casserole.

Coconut Cream Pie IV

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
Wow, this was excellent. I Used "Heartland Granola" premade pie crust--healthy and delicious. I used only one tbsp of butter, and subbed coconut oil for the other-gave it an extra coconut-y flavor. This was too sweet, I might cut back on the sugar next time. The meringue separated from the filling, so next time I will not cool the filling first, but will put the meringue directly onto the hot filling and bake. And yes, there will be a next time, yum!

Corn Tortillas

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Easy and tasty. I dont have a press, so I used a rolling pin. I put the dough ball on a piece of parchment paper, then I put a piece of saran wrap over it and rolled. I had no problems with sticking. Certainly weren't perfect circles, but they tasted great. I also added salt (about 1/2tsp) and a splash of lime juice as suggested by another reviewer.

Very good! 4 stars because it was a bit on the bland side.

Excellent! Made with the Homemade Spinach Noodles on this site. Didn't have any mushrooms :( but was still good. Took the advice of another reviewer and added red and orange bell peppers, some garlic and basil...yum!

Boyfriend Bait Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
This was good. But it needed...something else. I can't put my finger on what. It wasn't flavorless, but it was a tad bit on the bland side.

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
The name describes these perfectly. I used whole wheat white flour, and they were still delicious. Liked them best with no frosting because it made them a little too sweet (and I have a huge sweet tooth). My husband told me he will never be able to eat another cinnamon roll after tasting these! The only negative was that they don't keep well the next day, but get a little chewy and tough.

Peanut Butter Pie

I used the spray-can whipped topping because I had no cool whip. Still came out great!
