Sesame Beef Stir-Fry

Good base recipe. I'm surprised it got RAVE reviews like "best stew ever". It was a nice dinner & I would make again with some changes, but I would not say "I could not stop eating it" like others did. Give it a try with your own twist to it.

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Made for picky eaters on Christmas. Everyone loved! Served with crackers, fritos, celery. Good warmed up or cold. Used Franks Buffalo Wing sauce (instead of hot) and shredded 5 cheese Mexican (instead of mozz). Canned meat does have a distinct taste-would be better with fresh chicken, but who has the time?? Everyone liked with canned, so why not??? Leftovers still great for Giants football tailgate!

Grandma Maggio's Spaghetti Sauce

Family favorite. Im a hero.. Everyone loves the sauce and eats it to the last drop on the plate.. Easy to make and also good without the mushrooms. Add meatballs and it is perfect

Asparagus Appetizers

Made for girls' card night. Everyone loved! I omitted blue cheese b/c not fond of, but sprinkled before baking with parmesean cheese. Cut in 1/3's for finger food. Thanks!

Tortilla Ham Pinwheels

Simple Mac and Cheese

Mine came out on the dry side. Next time will add more milk or try adding sour cream too. Added french fried onions on top for last 10 minutes. That made the dish! Quick and easy!

The Best Banana Bread

Great starter recipe! Took advice of other reviewers: 1/2 white sugar & 1/2 brown. 1 1/2 cup flour & 1/2 cup oatmeal. Added chopped walnuts. Sprinkled buttered pan with sugar on bottom, sides, & top of batter. Thanks!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Tried at a party in spring & could not stop eating! I searched the web for recipe & planned to give to family and neighbors for holidays. First batch used margarine - did not come out well and threw out. Woops! 2nd batch used butter. Still not as tasty as I remembered. I did something wrong...maybe should have used milk choc instead of semi sweet? As reviewers said, I did wait 3 min without stirring after the boil, let it cool slightly before pouring over saltines (the 1st time I did not wait and soaked thru saltines like water- did not seem right??), baked few minutes after bubbling in oven. Choc was hard to spread! Sprinkled crushed walnuts and sprinkles on top. After all the work, I did give to family in tins at each place setting, but was not fond of it myself! 2 stars b/c I followed the recipe and can't figure out what went wrong!

No Bake Deluxe Hamburger Cookies

AWESOME! Can't tell you what a hit this was with 2-12 year olds. Brought to my 6yr old nephew's bday party and he screamed "Krabby Patties!" (after Sponge Bob tv show). So they are now called Krabby Patties!! I used a brush of honey to stick the sesame seeds on the Nilla wafer "buns" and a little to stick all the layers together. Used yellow and red food coloring mixed with vanilla icing to make "ketchup" and "cheese or mustard" (piped in using plastic bag with corner cut off). The green colored coconut is so realistic looking as lettuce! Took advice from reviewers and used Keebler mint grasshopper cookies for the patty. So incredibly cute. Time consuming, so only made 12. Kids can help make too. Thank you!!!!
