i tried this cake twice because so many people liked it, and so did i, until the next day. the first time i made it for someone else and tasted the part i trimmed off. it was so good! then they told me when they ate it, it was dry. i was very disappointed, but tried it again for a bake sale. i made cupcakes and was extremely careful not to overbake them. the night i made them they were fantastic! the next morning (yes, i ate it for breakfast!) they were dry, dry, dry. not sure what is going on, i'm not a novice at cake making, but i'm moving on in hopes of a better recipe!

Frosting for German Chocolate Cake

wonderful! i accidently left out the butter and it was the perfect consistency to frost my cake with. would also recommend a little vanilla and a pinch of salt to add even better flavor. (i also used pecans instead of walnuts)

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers

this was AMAZING! i followed some of the other recommendations (2 T flour instead of 2 t). i also used 1/2 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead. i loved it and so did all my guests. i was wondering if it would be good to take a lindt truffle and place it in the middle of the batter b/f baking??? can never have too much chocolate. i almost wanted to go to the store, buy more ingredients and make it all over again!! this will be made over and over!

Easy Baked Chicken

my family loved this! i didn't have the corn flakes so used someone's suggestion of crushed crutons. i also added parmesan cheese and a little minced garlic to the french dressing. it was so easy and good! i also took the suggestion from someone to drizzle a little more of the dressing on it half-way through cooking. it looked as good as it tasted.

Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls

the bread was good, but definitely needed more flour. i also didn't like the multiple risings it required. thought it would be something spectacular, but it wasn't anything different than the recipe i usually use that only raises once.

Creamy Penne Pasta

This was great! Both kids ate it up without any complaints and it took less than 15 min to throw together. I didn't have the fresh herbs so decided to use pesto instead. I also used canned tomatoes and thought the recipe would definitely have been too thick without it. Next time I will add the chicken.

Rolled Fondant

was my first try at fondant and i was nervous, but it turned out perfectly. i followed the advice to substitute corn syrup for glucose and veggie oil for glycerin. i also used rum flavoring instead of vanilla. i would definitely recommend this to anyone!
