Spiced Mixed Nuts

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
Easy to make, great flavor, my husband said, "Put that in the recipe book." After reading other reviews, I cooked for only 4 minutes in the microwave and that worked well. I spread them out on a silcone non-stick mat to cool, so that made it easier for me.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Added 1/4 cup gluten as suggested by other reviewers. Great bread, makes great toast. It rose about 3/4 the size of a regular loaf, but wasn't too dense.

Great recipe, you might need more topping. (Comments from 9 year old muffin chef.)

Simple Roasted Chickpea Snack

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Following some of the reviewers suggestions, I roasted these at 400 degrees for 40 minutes, and it was a bit much as it burned some of the spice. I like these, and they are a great dairy-free, nut-free snack for my little one.

Excellent and Healthy Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
Kids and adults liked this at our house. It has a different texture than the more cake-like or dessert-like cornbreads. It is more moist and chewy and we are glad to have a healthier cornbread recipe. We will make this again. It is great with honey.

Southwest Stew

This was easy to make. We added an extra can of tomatoes to make it a little less thick. We will make this again, it was well-liked by family members of all ages.

Easy to make, works well when the fish is baked, and also takes great over baked potatoes and broccoli.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
We quadrupled the recipe and it was still amazingly tasty! (Review from 9 year old.) I also experimented with using a lot less oil, and found that works out well, we just put the mixture in a bowl and had to stir more. We also tried this with yams and sweet potatoes and it was good with those, too.

Sugar Cookie Drops

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
Review from an 8-year-old: "The Best Cookies In The World" because they melt in your mouth. It is easier to roll it in balls if you chill the dough.
