Creamy Sweet Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
MUST ADD CINNAMON!!! I made it as written and it was just "ok", hence the 3 stars. My husband tried it but wouldn't eat more than one bite. I then added cinnamon to it and THEN it was delish! The cinnamon TOTALLY makes it. I rate it 5 stars with this simple addition. It makes it taste more like a pumpkin soup. Good stuff!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
This recipe is amazing! We had some ribs to use up and I almost just used store-bought BBQ sauce because I didn't think I could beat it, but BOY was I wrong. Hands down the best BBQ sauce I've ever tasted. I will used this sauce for chicken, beef, pork - whatever! The meat just fell of the bone. It's winter in Iowa, so I just baked in the oven instead of grilling for the last part of it, at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, uncovered. Delish!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
OMG! This is absolutely amazing! I followed the recipe (except reduced salt by 1/2 tsp) and it turned out delicious! I also marinated onions, peppers (red, green & yellow), sections of asparagus, mushrooms, and baby red potatoes with the chicken, and then made the kabobs. My grill was running out of gas, so it took about 30 to cook (so it was really low heat), but I would be tempted to slow cook them again. Loved the baby red potatoes with it. Made up some white rice by using chicken broth instead of water, and then set the kabobs on the rice right off the grill, to season the rice. I also had put the remainder of the marinade on some foil on the grill just to cook it, and then poured that over the kabobs and rice. Holy smokes. :) So good! Packed with flavor and tenderness. Better than anything you can get in a restaurant. THIS IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE MEAL NOW! FABULOUS!!!
