I am a married, stay at home mom to 3 beautiful girls. I love cooking for my family and for guests. Its a way for me to feel like I have accomplished something, and I like knowing I make people happy with my food. =)
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything. If I had to choose one type of food I like to cook the most, it would be Italian food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't have any cooking traditions yet. So, when my girls are old enough, I get to start cooking with them and starting my own traditions!
My cooking triumphs
Anything that turns out good! LOL. But I did make a Dora the Explorer cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday that I was really proud of.
My cooking tragedies
Luckily I haven't had many "tragedies" but the first time I made meatloaf I didn't leave space around the edge of the pan, and my meatloaf flooded with grease, and was not edible. That was my saddest cooking moment.

Clone of a Cinnabon
I made these this morning, for Father's Day breakfast for my husband. What a disappointment for him to wake up to these. They were hard as bricks. The dough seemed fine and then I put them in the oven and they never got "bready". They were dense, and hard, and just stayed a hard dough. I am upset, to say the least, that I put so much time and thought into this special morning for my husband, and this is the breakfast that I had for him. =( I don't know why it didn't work, there are over 5,000 good reviews for them. But I will not be making these again.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
I made this one morning for my family, thinking it would be a great new idea for the kids. Just really wasn't very good.

Mary's Meatloaf
Flavor was good. But who cooks a meatloaf for 2 hours?? One hour is plenty of cooking time for this recipe, unless you like your meatloaf bone dry.
