Miniature Chocolate Eclairs

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
Yummy yum YUM. These were delish! Like a true French delicacy! I am making these for a French party, so yesterday i decided to test these out. I went to the local grocery store, Seiyu, to buy ingredient. I saw some ready made eclairs and decided to try them out to, to see what they should taste like. I go home and make eclair, mine were kind of ugly when i put them on the sheet, i thought they might expand like a cookie they don't. These were just for me and my family tho so it was fine. Right out of the oven, they wern't that tasty, but i refrigerated them overnight and BOY were they crazy good in the morning! MUCH better than store bought. I follow recipe exactly, except for vanilla pudding instead of chocolate!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
Mine could have used a little less vegetable oil, after they cooled, they had an oily taste. I put them in an airtight container overnight and still they got slightly hard. THis is a great recipe and i will try different variations soon!

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
At first when i saw this recipe, i was thinking "hmmm.... can a banana muffin with no butter, oil, or apple sauce be all that good?". When I took a bite out of one of these, I knew the answer was "Yes, and better". These are so yummy, and feel good to eat to!

Triangular Delights

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
YUMMY!!! I always have trouble finding recipes for which i have the right ingredients, so this was a big hit. To make a long story short, i always end up substituting something for something that really shouldn't be in there. I was thrilled that i had all of the ingredients. One thing that I did wrong was that i cut the tortillas before brushing them, it would have gone a lot faster if I had brushed first .These were crispy, yummy, and utterly amazing! When i popped them out of the oven, the whole family came running to see what the spicy, aromatic, delicious smell wafting out of the kitchen was. Sure enough, everyone loved it!

Spicy Scones

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Very good scones!... actually the first I've ever made ;). these were very good, and left the kitchen smelling like a cinnamon spicy heaven! surprisingly easy to make, a little bit breaddy for scones, but overall very good. I did not use milk, and they turned out fine with a dollop of yogurt and water.

Japanese Sushi Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I think this needs rice vinegar, and no sugar. Try the perfect sushi rice, or you can buy sushi rice powder at many Japanese grocery stores for quick fixes.

Lacy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
These cookies were delicious! The one problem was getting them off the cookie sheet, i used aluminum foil ungreased, maybe that was the problem. Next time i will try it without foil. They also spread out a lot, so use little teaspoons of dough far apart from each other. some of mine that were closer together stuck and melted into one big cookie! this was really hard to rip off the cookie sheet! Overall, these were very nice cookies will make again next time will try dipping in CHOCOLATE :D

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
These muffins were very moist and delicious I can see why they got such a high rating! Instead of putting the topping on top of the muffins, i put it in the center. This made it more of a coffee cake type banana muffin, and the crumbs diddnt go all over

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
These muffins were amazing! They are especially good if you add 1/4 cup butterscotch chips to them They do rise a lot in the oven, so only fill the tins 2/3 the way full Will definitely make again
