Rich Chocolate Frosting

Easy, yummy recipe! I cut the recipe in half and it was plenty for my cake pan that makes a cake to look like a big cup cake. I'll definitely make this again! Thank you.

So so so so good!! My husband and kids didn't like them - but that didn't stop me from eating the entire batch!!!

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
SOOOO good!! I used smoked turkey sausage to cut back on fat a little. I was ready to use my immersion blender to make it creamy but I didn't need to. It was creamy with chunks of potatoes, the taste of the sausage. WONDERFUL! Great with tuna sandwiches for an end to a busy day and cold evening!

Cabbage Patch Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
Great recipe! Perfect to throw in the slow cooker and come home to a cooked meal. Beans were a little different in this recipe, but they add more protein. Not sure I'll include them next time. I cooked it on high for 3 1/2 hours and it was delicious!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
SOOO good! I made these because I've made my other recipe for so long I was ready for a change. My son said this tasted like a cupcake... So good, and "fluffy" is the perfect word to describe them. The recipe makes about 8-10, so you may want to double it if you're serving more than 3-4 people.

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
EXCELLENT!! But you canNOT include all that salt. I'm convinced it's a type-o. Bouillon is normally one cup of water to one bouillon cube. I added 3 cups of water and 3 bouillon cubes and a PINCH of salt (not a Tbsp!!). It was soooo good on this cold fall night!

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
GREAT recipe! Based on other reviews of this being a cookie for adults, I added 1 1/2 tsp vanilla and only 1/2 tsp almond extract. I think the almond might make it more "grown up" tasting. I liked how some of the pictures used sliced almonds, so I used those too and they look good. I put a little bit of red decorating frosting down before putting the almond on. I didn't do it after the cookie came out of the oven. I think any sugar cookie recipe would work well with this idea. Thank you!

Eggplant Supper Soup

GREAT recipe for a cold fall day! I used rice instead of pasta because I had some leftover in the fridge. I also added a couple of bay leaves. DELICIOUS - especially served with some bread.

Breakfast The Night Before

VERY good! I was a little scared by the amount of milk in the recipe, so I cut back a tiny bit. It turned out great - perfect for our Father's Day brunch! Great recipe!

Great recipe! I didn't chill the dough (I was being impatient!) and they still turned out yummy. Thanks for a good recipe on this rainy, dreary day!

Slow Cooker Sausage 'n' Grits Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
SOOO DELICIOUS!! It's so nice to have this slow cooker recipe because it's different than the usual stews or chilis. The only change I made is that I used marinara sauce in place of the ketchup because I had some in the fridge that I wanted to use up. Thank you for a great recipe!
