Turkey Bake with Whole Wheat Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This was very good! I only gave it four stars because I needed to add extra sauce and spices to give it a little more flavor. I used extra garlic, sauteed the turkey with onions (and more garlic), and added oregano and crushed red pepper flakes. All my guests had seconds and i received lots of praise for such a simple recipe. I served with a salad and that was plenty of food.

Ragu® No Boiling Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Yummy and so simple and quick to make. I used traditional Ragu because i dont like chunky sauce and just used less water in the mix and added garlic powder / crushed red pepper for flavor. Will make again

Olive Oil Roasted Eggplant with Lemon

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
Great quick simple recipe. As other users suggested I salted the eggplant after slicing and let it drain for about a half hour before roasting. This will keep the eggplant from getting mushy, I added garlic powder for flavor and was pleased with the result. It makes a great quick side dish or even a yummy crunchy snack!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
Great Recipe. I used a 3 lb pork tenderloin, cooked on low with Root Beer for 8 hours while we were at work, when I got home I drained root beer and added Jack Daniels BBQ sauce for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours on low. It was so simple yet so delicious. I served on burger buns with Coleslaw.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
This chicken turned out delicious, I added a variety of spices to my bread crumbs to spruce it up- crushed red pepper, garlic & onion powder and salt. I used a jarred four cheese sauce. Because I know my oven I didnt bake it as long as the recipe called, I left it in the first time for about 27 minutes and the second time for 20 minutes. Yum thanks!!

Eggplant Parmesan I

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Delicious. The only change I made was that I breaded the eggplant slices before putting them on the stove. I dipped them in flour then egg then breadcrumbs and followed all teh other steps exactly. Everyone enjoyed it!

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This turned out absolutely delicious! I used Laughing Cow light Garlic and Herb cheese spread from Acme. I only had plain breadcrumbs on hand so i added garlic and onion powder, crushed red peppers and Italian seasoning to add flavor. Otherwise I followed directions to a T and it turned out great. Served with Garlic bread (we love garlic) and rice w/ veggies. I will certainly make again.

This recipe was very easy and tasty, you won't even know there's alcohol! The only problem is that they go down quite easy so after one pitcher we were feeling the mixture :)

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
This chicken was very simple to make and a big hit with the family. I added a few more garlic cloves and sprinkled Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic into the bread crumb mix- used Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs. I cooked it for 45 minutes and as others suggested i flipped the chicken with 15 minutes left. Served with egg noodles, broccoli rabe and a salad. I will make again.

California Bean Dip

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
I am not a huge bean eater but this went over great at a work cinco de mayo party. I took other users suggestions and only used 1/2 cup ranch dressing. I also added some sour cream. It was a huge hit and super simple to make, I will use again!

Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
I made slight changes...as others suggested I cooked the mushrooms right after the bacon in the same skillet, I also put the mushrooms on the chicken under the cheese with the bacon. I nixed the honey mustard I don't think it needs it, quite tasty without it. Had to broil it for longer than 5 minutes on each side. Could be my broiler or my chicken pieces were too thick but it did take much longer than I expected. Overall it satisfied my party of four and I may make it again.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
This was absolutely delicious and a huge hit at a brunch. I used mozzerella cheese instead of swiss because that is what i had available and it still turned out great. I will make this again, may try it with sausage next time.

Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
This chicken was so simple and quick to prepare! I used Campbell's Broccoli Cheese Soup because it's what I had. The only changes I made were to add more garlic (personal preference) and I used fresh mushrooms instead of jarred. Served with green beans. I'll make it again.

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
Quick and simple pasta recipe. I used 1 lb of bacon and chose to steam the spinach to wilt it. I also added a little extra garlic as is my personal preference. Next time I will probably add Feta cheese.

Stuffed Peppers

Great recipe! The only change I made was to blanche the peppers before cooking to soften them. Otherwise it was flavorful and a crowd pleaser. Next time I will add a layer of cheese to the peppers when stuffing it but overall delicious.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
I made this for a tailgate party and it was a huge hit! As others suggested, I used a 9x13 aluminum tin and it fit perfectly. I left out the lettuce because it wilts but otherwise the recipe was perfect. I will definitely make this again.
