My favorite things to cook
I love cooking chicken and cheesecakes. Their just so much fun. Cheesecake is a delicacy that will taste good no matter what you do with it, really, and chicken is just so versatile... the possibilities are endless. :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking crescent cookies with my mom every year is my favorite tradition. We only do it for Christmas and it's what I look forward to the most. Can't wait to pass that one down to my kids.
My cooking triumphs
Probably my english toffee cheesecake that I made for Christmas '08. Never got so many compliments before. Was out-of-this-world good.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I ever tried to make cheesecake. Oh man. I had never baked before and I chose the most complicated recipe EVER. It was cracked, overmixed, under baked... Horrible. But it still tasted pretty good. :P

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles
My family loves this cookie. So good and sugary. I used butter instead of margarine and cinnamon sugar for rolling in instead of maple sugar. Absolutely fantastic. So chewy and good.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These cookies were PHENOMENAL. As long as you make them the right way. The first time I made them, they turned out flat and burnt. This was because I needed to REFRIGERATE the dough. Seriously. This step is CRUCIAL. At least for 1 hour. Actually you should do that with all cookies that have melted butter in them. It prevents them from spreading :) AMAZING recipe. I crushed up 20 oreos into my dough along with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Also made them a tiny bit smaller. Came out amazing! Thanks a lot.
