Sweet Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This recipe was great...the pork was very moist the bacon crisp and the sauce delicious. The only tweak I would make next time would be to cover with foil for the first 30 minutes (this takes at least 45 minutes to an hour to cook...NOT 30 minutes) because the sauce got a little too brown. Also, wait longer to add the raisins...they were hard as rocks.

Butternut Squash with Onions and Pecans

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
Wonderful and easy with only a few ingredients! It's hard to believe this recipe is good for you...it tastes so decadent. The only hard part was cutting the squash....I think next time I might microwave it for a few minutes before trying to cut it up (to soften it a bit)

Chicken Tetrazzini III

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
So...I hate it when people review a recipe when they haven't even followed it...but I'm gonna go ahead and do it anyway. I really liked how this turned out with a few changes. First, like all the reviews have said, it needs liquid. I went ahead and added a can of chicken broth to the pan. To make it a bit creamier I also added about 3/4 cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2. I feel like this made a pretty significant difference (along with ALOT more cheese). Also, I was lazy and didn't want to saute the onion so I used dried onions and just added them...I'm sure it would have been better to follow the recipe in this regard, but if you're in a rush it works. Next time I think I'll add a bit more flour b/c the sauce was a bit runny, but I will def make this again.

Spanish Rice with Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
I would make this again b/c it's so easy (I love one skillet meals!) I used frozen brown rice (in easy microwave bags) from costco, doubled the chili powder (still it needed more) and left out the hot sauce. As I was eating the leftovers the next day I added some sour cream. That made it much more interesting, that's the biggest improvement I made.

Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
I followed this recipe to the T and it was so thick I would have had to spread it out on the griddle...so I added more milk and it still wasn't good. Didn't brown well and tasted very bland...I won't do this again.
