Moroccan Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
NOTE: I changed this drastically but it is a delicious base and starting off point for so many great meals! Here's what I did: Browned chicken thighs with salt & pepper, set aside as instructed. I added chunky diced potatoes and thick sliced carrots to the pot along with the garlic. Sauteed about 5-8 minutes to give them a head start on the cooking. I then added the onions and green peppers with the cinnamon and curry powder (I did add more of these spices to suit the added vegetables). Added Amy's brand cream of tomato soup and a couple of splashes of chicken broth as it did look a little thick for my tastes. Gave it a taste, added a little salt to taste, put chicken back and let cook for 25 minutes. Rave reviews all around my house. Did not add garbanzos, raisins or almonds, it just didn't seem to need them! I loved the combination of curry and cinnamon, thank you for this recipe!

Garlic Chicken

This was really quick dish which is why I gave it 4 stars. It was a little bland for my taste, will season the chicken before breading next time. Husband loved it.

Rosemary and Garlic Simmered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
LOVED this. So flavoful yet so simple. Your house will smell delicious from beginning to end. I added a little cornstarch to the sauce to thicken it up and make a to die for gravy. No leftovers to speak of is my only complaint!

Three letters: OMG. This is hands down the best way to season and cook pork I have ever found. I'm going to keep trying this recipe on different cuts of pork, because it was SOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! I don't think I could ever get tired of this.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
30 minutes would have been plenty of time. I made the mistake of taking the advice of other reviewers and cooked it way too long. I got really crusty noodles. One piece of advice I should have taken was to make more sauce. Mine turned out crusty and a little dry. Really delicious taste though, based on that, 4 stars.

Spicy Sausage and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
Woo! This was spicy! But I believe this was user error. Great taste, but I will definitely try a different type of sausage next time. I used Logan's hot chorizo and even for me ( I loooove spicy food) it was way too hot. Wonderful and easy otherwise.

Definitely a 5 start recipe if you omit the salt. I left out the salt like all the other reviews said and these steaks were to die for! Thank you, Macaw!

Very nice side dish. I'm a beginner and this was nice and easy. I did use long grain rice like Lucy said and increased the liquid. Thanks for the recipe!
