I'm a young mother of an infant and student at University of Maine in Orono. My husband and I are both redheads, as well as our little girl.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook with garlic, especially meats. My favorite way to cook is pan frying: stirfry, pan-searing, etc. My preference is gas heat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite tradition is Irish boiled dinner on St. Patrick's Day: Corned beef, cabbage, carrots, onions, potatoes, and celery slow cooked in stout all day.
My cooking triumphs
Meats, especially beef. I'm also great at stirfrying.
My cooking tragedies
Not great at baking. I can do the basics, but definitely no souffles from me.
