Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
I wanted to make something quick for supper tonight and came across this recipe. I made it exactly as the directions say to, and the kids and I decided it's our favorite recipe yet!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
This was absolutely wonderful! I doubled the sauce and only used 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I baked it covered in foil for 30 minutes at 425 then took the foil off and lowered the heat to 375 for another 15 minutes. I made some white rice Daisy Martinez style and cooked up some broccoli and had a homemade chinese night. Absolutely fabulous!

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
These are wonderful! I used a gallon size ziploc bag to coat the potatoes with the oil and seasonings and lined my pan with foil so clean-up was non existant! The flavor of these potatoes are awesome and it looks very impressive for such little effort!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I have never baked french bread in my life before this and it was easy-peasy! I like a soft loaf so I followed another member's advice about beating a whole egg and brushing that on the loaves. These were fantastic and are gobbled up immediately whenever I make them!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I was sooo dissapointed with these cookies! I mixed everything together and it seemed fine, chilled for over 24 hours, had only a little trouble rolling out (had to use powdered sugar so it wouldn't stick.) The taste of the dough was really good so I was expecting better. My son and I worked so hard at cutting out autumn shapes (the dough softened so quickly!) and popped them in the oven. These cookies didn't just spread, they ran for their lives! Turkeys, leaves and pumpkins went in and shapeless blobs came out. The finished cookie did have a good taste although a smidge floury. I followed the recipe, adding a cup of sugar and an additional tsp of vanilla. It has been muggy here lately, maybe that was the problem although we had the air running while making them. Oh well. The search goes on.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
These are awesome! I made some for my mother and she thought they were fantastic! She told me biscuits were something she had never been able to master. She was shocked when I told her how easy these were to make! These are delicious with butter or jam or just by themselves! Great job!
