Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I have made these twice in a week, they are so delicious! Instead of using wine in the sauce, I mix a 1/2 can of cream of mushroom soup with a small can of mushroom steak sauce and chicken broth. Absolutely delicious!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
These cookies taste great. The cons for me are: the stickiness of the dough and I wish they didn't puff so much. The puffing causes them to not hold their shape so well, so I think I may continue to look for a recipe that stays flatter.

I made this sauce with LadyHen's recommendations, and it turned out delicious! Great recipe, as long as you make the needed adjustments.

Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
I think this recipe could safely be titled "SUPER SPICY HUMMUS". I found the proportions to be way off, but maybe it's just a recipe that creates a chunkier hummus whereas I prefer the smoother variety. I used the food processor to ensure a smooth texture, and found I had to add probably a 1/2 cup more olive oil than called for. I also needed to add plenty of salt. I was freaked out by the amount of cayenne called for, so I only put in 1/2 tsp. Good thing, because my lips are still burning from the little bit I just ate. Overall a decent base recipe, but required many tweaks.

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
This is a great, straightforward egg salad recipe. I found them to be way too "dilly" for my taste, so I think next time I will cut the amount of dill in half. I also added celery because I love a little crunch. Yum!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
I really liked these brownies. SUPER easy to make. Couldn't be easier, actually. The only thing that bothered me about them is that I thought they were too sweet. I think next time I'd cut the sugar and possibly increase the amount of cocoa powder. Other than that, wonderful! I recommend underbaking them to get that gooey wonderful-ness.

One-Dish Chicken, Vegetable and Rice Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I loved this recipe, and so did my husband! I followed the instructions of GINAH1, and it turned out perfectly. The recipe was delicious and we had leftovers! I'll be making this one again.
