About this Cook
Wife of 1, mother of 4, and grandmother of 2. Fairly recent transplant from California to Montana, and while I miss the shopping and restaurants I do NOT miss the never ending search for the closest parking space!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite style of cooking is best described as family-style I suppose; although most of my food ends up with some kind of ethnic twist or another.
My cooking tragedies
Hahaha! This one's easy...pancakes are the bane of my existence! They run the gamut from overdone to underdone, from crispy to the point of resembling a fritter, to an anemic beige with the consistency of silly putty. For whatever reason I get no respect from the pancake!

Bramboracky (Czech Savory Potato Pancakes)
I followed the recipe exactly, made a sour cream and dill topping, and didn't have any leftovers.

Chicken Tikka Masala
I made this last night according to the recipe except for the jalapeno because my 3 year old granddaughter was over for dinner. Soooo good! Can't wait to make the spicier version the next time my husband is home. Thank you!

French Toast Casserole
This is my 14 year old daughter's favorite breakfast! I usually use cinnamon swirl bread off the day old rack for a little extra cinnamon kick. Thank you!
