Onion Rings

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
Not only is this one of the best ways to make a delicious onion ring, it is so versitile! I made this with a few moderations. I added some garlic powder, paprika, and dried parsley to the dry pancake batter. I then pre-coated them with the dry mix. After I made the pancake mix as directed (just add water). and coated them in that. I fried up 1/2 of them (350 degrees in the fryer for ~2-3 mins) just like that! Delicious. Then with the 2nd half i coated them in a breading mix (I used crushed up stuffing flavored croutons as it was the only thing I had on hand) and then fried those up too (same batter) and they were even better. this recipe was just so great I had so many compliments.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
Omg! This was delicious! I come on this site alot because I'm new at cooking. I only recently started, maybe 3 months ago. I only cook for two so I always divide the recipes down to a two portion meal. And they come out fantastic. Next time I make this I'm going to make more of the glaze so I can put it over rice. Also someone mentioned having this w/ sauted Garlic GreenBeans. I tried that, I added lemon pepper to the green beans and a teaspoon of lemon juice and they were delicious!

Spicy Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I actually took some of the other raters advice and didn't microwave them. I baked them on a broiler pan for 15 mins each sideat 450*. I also used Garlic Powder, Thyme, Parsley, Salt/Pep, and Lemon Pepper. I put all ingridients in a bowl w/ the oil, i used EVOO, and dipped the potatoes in the bowl and just sprinkled a light dusting of the same spices right before i baked them. All in all it was a decent recipe.
