I just made this and it was awesome! I made made 3 changes. I added fresh asparagus. I doubled the sauce and instead of water, I used chicken broth!! Thanks to the poster of this recipe! I now have a new family favorite!

Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
With a couple minor changes, this recipe was awesome!! I used fresh sliced sweet onion and fresh mushrooms. I sauteed the mushrooms and onion in the butter after the meat and added to the pot. I also added 1 cup of beef broth after reducing the wine. One last and important step was that I marinated the meat for 24 hours in the wine with 2 tbsp of brandy, (from another recipe on this site). This was absolutely the most amazing dish! I didn't think it would be fair to write my own recipe for this, (because I made several changes). I absolutely think this cook needs this credit!! Thank you for sharing.

The video shows the addition of red pepper flakes but I don't see it here in the recipe. Can someone tell me the real recipe?

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
I had left over rice, (3 days old). I had all other ingredients, so this was easy for me. I used one pot and browned chicken, (seasoned with Tony Chachery), in evoo, butter. Removed the chicken to chop while I sauteed the onion. Drained a can of Rotel, added to onion, added soups then mixed in the chopped chicken. Layer as instructed. This was awesome! Thanks Gweneth for sharing. Very tasty!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
Great recipe. As a chef and mom I will tell you I had second thoughts about the maple syrup. My son said it is his top five recipes and wants this every week. He doesn't normally care for fish but he loves this and I don't normally rate these recipes but have to add this as a staple. Thanks for sharing Starflower. Great recipe.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
This was a great recipe. I have been sick with a cold for a few days. Nothing has tasted very good. I doubled the veggies and added garlic with the Evoo/veggies. I had cheese tortellini on hand and used that instead of noodles. I will say it was very good. This was a real comfort and Thanks for posting. It was wonderful!!

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
The consistancy of sauce is perfect. The flavor needs some help. Next time, maybe some dill and another dash of hot sauce. Don't get me wrong. It is a great recipe, but a little bland for my taste.

Roasted Tomato Salsa I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
I only had 5 roma tomatoes on hand and I was looking for a salsa recipe so they wouldn't go bad. I added another jalapeno, one tsp of cyanne (sp?), and the salsa was wonderful. My 20 year old said it was the best salsa he has ever had. I kept all the other ingredients the same.

Jen's Fresh and Spicy Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
I used 1/2 of a large sweet onion and left out the hot sauce. I also used 2 cloves of garlic and it was very good. I was trying to find a great salsa on here and this is very close. I used only one jalapeno and I was sorry I did.....I had to add another to get the heat we are used to. I didn't seed them either.

Excellant. My 19 year old said it was the best dish he has ever eaten. I used 1 jar of clints "Perfect Hot" salsa and like another suggested, I spread the refried beans on the tortillas, facing up and layered as directed. Rave reviews from family. Thanks for sharing!

Collard Greens and Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
I am not a fan of collard greens but had bought some for a recipe. I found this and will have to say it was fantastic. I substituted red onion for sweet onion and chicken stock for the water. Rave reviews and I will definately make again. The original recipe that I used for this, (from cuisine magazine) was horrible. Thanks for sharing Melanie.
