Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
I took this dish to a carry in and everyone loved it. I did change it slightly...I didn't have the right kind of cheese, so I used sharp cheddar and I added real bacon bits. Yummy! I would cut back on the butter next time, it was a little too greasy for me.

Midwest Loose Meats

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
LOVED these! I live in the midwest and near my hometown we have a Maidrite sandwich shop. These are sooooo close to the taste of their maidrites. I omitted the 1/4 of yellow mustard and they were wonderful. My husband said they were possibly the best maidrites he has ever had.

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
They were pretty good. I only had ground sage so I put in a little less and it was a little to strong for me still.

Fiesta Cheese Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
very tasty! My husband liked it a lot. I think next time I will hold off on the cheese a bit. I don't think it needed any on top.

Pork Chop Skillet Meal

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
My kids weren't big fans of this, so I made them some plain chops in another skillet, but my husband liked it. He said it scared him a little when he saw it in the skillet, but it tastes so much better than it looks. I customized it a bit...I breaded my chops with flour, pepper and pork seasoning before I browned them. I only had white corn and stewed tomatoes and they were fine, but next time I will try diced tomatoes. I added chicken broth instead of water and I would imagine that made it a little more flavorful too!

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Loved these! I followed some of the other reviews and added a little more peppermint oil and I also used 4 oz. of cream cheese instead of 3.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a rotisserie oven and have tried chicken in it several times and it has never been great! This was great! I followed the recipe except for the following... I omitted white pepper, cut the cayenne and black pepper in half. At 7:30 this morning I removed the giblets and rinsed and dried the (4 lb.) chicken. I then rubbed it with olive oil and covered the inside and out with the spices and placed it back in the fridge until 9:45 when i placed it in the rotisserie and 2 hours later it was cooked to perfection! I did try to put the onion inside, but most of it fell out during cooking. I also collected the drippings and put them in a sauce pan and added a small can of chicken broth and 1 1/2 tsp. of cornstarch and brought it to a boil until thickened. Mashed some potatoes and it was a fantastic meal! Will have again soon since my picky hubby loved it!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
These are awesome! I have never made homemade cinnamon rolls so I was sceptical on how they would turn out. I got up about 20 minutes early and they were ready for the kids before school. My husband and kids really loved them. I didn't have bread flour, but they turned out great without it, so will try bread flour next time and hope they are even better. I also put icing on ours. I used the vanilla glaze recipe on this site and it was awesome too.

Vanilla Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
This was a really good recipe. I did agree with others that it needed more milk so I used about a tablespoon or a little more of milk in this. I also like almond extract in my icing so I added about 1/4 tsp of that too. Our cinnamon rolls this morning were soooooo yummy!

Tuna Noodle Casserole III

My family really liked this. I added 1/3 cup sour cream 1/2 cup milk, and instead of sliced cheese added some velveeta not too much probably 3/4 cup or so. It was very good!

Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
LOVED these! My husband asks for them for every party we go to now. They are a hit everytime. I use boneless chicken strips sometimes too, I don't like wings as well... more work for little meat I think.

Rainbow Salad

I put this in a bunt cake pan and served it at Christmas and it was a hit. Who knew jello could be such a hit. It was very attractive and I had a lot of compliments on how nice it looked. I didn't use the exact same flavors, but it still tasted great.

I love these cookies. They almost melt in your mouth. My hubby that is not much on sweets thought they were way to rich. I say the richer the better!

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
VERY GOOD! My whole family ate it up. No left overs darn! I think next time I will try a different BBQ sauce. I used a sweet one which was fine, but we all agreed it would be even better with one that was not so sweet.
