Fudge Brownies I

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2012
My family LOVED this recipe. It was probably the best brownie I ever made or eaten. I did tweak it a bit based on other reviewers. I only used 2 eggs, 1 3/4 cup butter, a little less sugar and I put 1 cup of Ghittard round chocolate pieces instead of nuts right before I baked them. I also used a 8 X 8 pan and cooked for 40 min. Outstanding, thanks for sharing!!!

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
If I could give this 10 or 100 stars I would. My family calls this my "famous chocolate cake" and just goes wild over it every time I make it. I really think it's the boiling water at the end that makes it so moist. The frosting is not too sweet and makes for a lovely cake. My family thinks it's better than the bakery cakes. Thanks so much for this wonderful recipe!!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
This is awesome! So flavorful, I could eat the whole pan myself. I never put in the sweet potato, but if you liked them, it would be good! The balsamic vinegar makes this dish!!

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
I don't usually rate recipes, although I love almost everything I have tried on this site. But, I have to rate this one. I would have given it 10 stars if I could. It was so easy and so wonderful. 4 of us finished off the pan pretty easily. I read some reviews that said it was too sweet, but mine was not sweet at all. I did put a bit less sugar in, but not a certain amount less, I just didn't put the sugar to the top of the measuring cup. I will be making this again and again. My husband calls me the dessert queen and this one didn't disappoint anyone!!! Thank you for the recipe.

Mom's Best Waffles

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
These were awesome!! I was skeptical when I made the batter because it was rather thin (a reviewer who only gave it 1 star said it was thin so I was worried because mine was too). After trying them my son said "no wonder it's called Mom's Best Waffles". They were awesome, best waffle recipe I have tried. I added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon in mine because my son likes cinnamon waffles. It wasn't overpowering, just a hint, I will add a little more next time. Thanks for the recipe!!

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I have never written a review before (although there are many awesome recipes on this site), but I couldn't resist this one. These brownies were probably the best I have ever had! I have been in seach of the perfect brownie receipe and I think I have found it! A couple very minor changes I made. I sifted the cocoa power before putting it in the mixer so there where no lumps; I used 1 c. of flour like some reviewers said and I only used 3 eggs. They came out perfectly. Mine took the full 30 min. to bake in a 13x9 pan. Thanks for the recipe!

Boston Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
This cake was awesome! The only real problem I had was not enough filling, but that is really not a problem, just next time I will double the filling. I did sift the sugar with the cornstarch before I started to cook it and it was very smooth and creamy, not lumpy like some people said. Thanks for the recipe. It was my first time making Boston Cream Pie and it was pretty easy, just tiring stiring the filling.

Balsamic Tortellini

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
This recipe is awesome!! I always subsitute bacon, but that's my preference. I have added peas to the mix and it's a great way to get your vegitable in. I cannot get enough of this recipe. Tonight I am going to add some artichoke hearts instead of peas and see how it goes. Thanks for the recipe.
