Cilantro Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
My hubby and I both thought this was terrible. We both at two slices of cucumber and we rinsed what was left off and re-engineered with vinegar!

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Delicious! I took the suggestion of a couple other reviewers and only used one banana. I also added 1/4 C. chopped pecans and these were excellent.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
I made these last night and they were delicious. Next time, I will skip the garlic step-what a disaster-it did not do anything to enhance the dish. I will add some garlic powder and a few other seasonings to the breading (maybe oregano and thyme). I did roll the chops in flour before the egg was and it did seem to help the breading stick better. Overall, a real winner (my two kids even asked for seconds!).

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
These were very good...I added 1/4 C black beans to the filling. I used red enchilada sauce and taco seasoning as many of the other reviewers had suggested. I don't think it needed a full 15 minutes after the cheese was added because the pasta shells did get crispy. I would definitely make again-my whole familiy enjoyed this.

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
This is the recipe I always use with a couple of minor variations. I use butter for shortening and 2 1/2 C of each wheat flour and bread flour (definitely use bread flour-all purpose doesn't seem to do as well). Yesterday, I was out of honey and used molasses instead---IT WAS THE BEST BATCH EVER!!!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
Fantastic! I made this for my family to test the recipe before making it for 300 people at a local church Thanksgiving celebration. I ended up cutting the sausage in half and increasing the bread and stock a little. I baked in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. I will be making this again on Thanksgiving day-I can't wait to eat it again!

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
I thought the recipe was terrible. It was way too sweet and mushy. I am upset that I wasted a pound of my venison to make this recipe. If I ever made it again I would cut the sugar and hoisin at least in half.
