White Bean 'n' Ham Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
This was great! I used dry beans that were soaked overnight and boiled down a ham bone for stock. But either way you are in for a treat! Thanks for this recipe. 12/01/09 - Made again today.... love this recipe

These were great and very easy. You can get creative and use other herbs and spices to make a new flavor every time.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
Oh my goodness!! I did just like the suggestions said and added a bit more corn starch and did 1 ½ times the topping. Go with fresh firm peaches if you can – it always makes a difference. It turned out fantastic! I didn’t get to take a picture… it had a “taste test” to make sure it was perfect for my guests later today… You will not be disappointed with this one folks! This one is worth that extra time on the tread mill.

I thought this was "just OK" it needed something - A good Base recipe - I will play with the recipe and see if I can kick it up a bit. The meat did turn out super juicy..I just wanted more from the spices.

Pink Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
YES, YES, YES! Quick and easy hardly any mess. On my second time making this I made some changes that made all the difference. 1 – Add a few drops of Red Food color (like others did here) 2 – Don’t fold in the whip topping in…. get out your hand mixer and beat this bad boy till it gets fluffy and “spoons” into the pie shell. If it “pours” you didn’t beat it long enough. ? I made several and they freeze nice. Make a bunch a head of time and keep in the freezer for parties and potlucks when you don’t have time to make anything… try putting a carton of fresh raspberries on top before serving for an added kick. My next try I will use Bacardi Mixers (freezer section) – Pina Colada!

Wow - I love these. I used my bread maker to mix the dough and it came out perfect. I will never buy burger or hot dog buns again. So worth it!

Working Mom's Hamentashen

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Never heard of or had a Hamentashen before. They taste very good - My Jewish boyfriend said they were very good but not Authentic - that you have to go to a real Jewish deli/ bakery (preferably in New York) to get the real thing.. I think he's just being a "Hamentashen snob".. cause I liked them.
