Guinness(R) Corned Beef
I'm shocked we were not more impressed since the other reviews were so great. Maybe you have to like to drink beer to appreciate this recipe but in our opinion, the stout beer made the vegetables too bitter tasting (not a very good broth at all). The corn beef turned out tasty and I liked cooking it in a dutch oven slow/low but would not do the Guinness again. I could get just as tasty corn beef with a better tasting broth. My husband said that I should have watered down the Guinness with beef broth since it is a strong beer for the cabbage/potatoes which absorbed the beer flavor. Will not make again and not worth the cost of the beer. Bummer!

Irish Brown Soda Bread
Not good at all! It was lacking flavor (a little more salt is needed) and they came out like rocks. I only mixed the dough enough to incorporate the flour mixture into the buttermilk. I'm a baker so this is not my first go round. Will not make this recipe again.

Clone of a Cinnabon
OHHH MYYYY GOOSSHH! To die for and tastes just like Cinnabon. I also did not have a bread machine so I used a packet of the quick rise yeast dissolved in warm milk with the sugar (let set for 5 min. and foamy). I also added Vital Wheat Gluten to accomodate for not having bread flour (1 Tbls per cup of All-Purpose) which I think made a huge difference in the texture. I also added about 1/2 cup whole grain pastry flour since I like to sneak in whole wheat when I can and couldn't even tell the difference. This recipe is so awesome!!
