Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

I used more tomato, garlic and basil. I used 1/2 cup wine and still thought it had a lot of liquid. It was very good when you had tomatos with the fish, but if you had a bite of fish alone it was a little bland.

Honey Ginger Shrimp

I thought this was good and would give it 3 1/2 stars, but my husband says 3. We both think it is too spicy, and I only used 1 tsp of red pepper flakes. I would try it again, but only use 1/2 tsp. Every once in a while we both thought we'd get a less spicy biteful that was tasty, but I think overall the flavor was hidden by the spicy hot pepper flakes.

Zippy Summer Shrimp

This is really good exactly as written. I usually make this as written, but tonight I tried experimenting because I wanted to use some vegetables. I added some diced onions a moment after the garlic. Then I added sliced mushrooms before adding the spices. I added a bit of white wine before adding the shrimp. I did the rest as written, but I added one diced tomato right at the end before the basil. It was very good also. I served it on pasta. I tried it with and without Parmesan cheese and both were good. Also, because of my young kids, I have to cut the red pepper flakes in half. Still yummy.

I used ranch dressing instead of mayo, and I put the chicken in a bit of Italian dressing to cook. Quick, easy, and good, but nothing spectacular.

I added 1 clove of garlic with the green onions (in addition to the garlic powder already in the recipe). My husband loved this and thought it tasted like KFC's original recipe!

Good. I made the recipe just as stated, but I had it sitting on the stovetop for 30 minutes because my husband was a little late. It could have been a bit more tender. 30 min. was too long.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Very good! I made this as directed, using Johnny Harris BBQ sauce. Served on hamburger buns that I buttered lightly and broiled for a moment. Set slow cooker to high for 3 hours. The sauce was a little thin so I added a little water with cornstarch. Used leftovers on baked potatoes and they were also very good.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker
