Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This recipe gets 5 stars because its easy, cheap and tastes delicious!! My boyfriend loves biscuits & gravy and he couldn't stop raving about these. I'd say this recipe makes about 2 servings, not 4 though.

I made this cake for my boyfriend's mom's bday and everyone loved it! It disappeared quick. The cake was SO moist and very simple to make.

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
I've never before made ganache, this was SO ridiculously easy and tastes amazing!!! I made it with Captain Morgan's spiced rum and poured it on top of a chocolate bundt cake. I got rave reviews from everyone!

Deep Dish Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Absolutely delicious!! Made this for my boyfriend who is very picky and he's ate it for lunch and dinner the last two days! I didn't have oregano so I added extra basil and also some salt to the meat mixture. As suggested by another review, have everything chopped and ready to go BEFORE you start otherwise it gets a little crazy. The only issue I had was that 1 pound of meat didn't seem like enough?

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
YUMMM! This smelled so good baking in the oven. :) I didn't have any oregano or parsley so I used dry Italian seasoning instead. I read the reviews after the fact and I will definitely be adding extra bread crumbs to the bottom of the dish before baking to prevent the chicken from becoming soggy. Boyfriend said it was "missing something." He's overly picky though!

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
This was my first attempt at making any kind of fish tacos. Along with a lot of other reviewers, I couldn't find jicama so I just left that out. The tacos were great although we didn't think the fish was spicy enough so we added jalapenos to our tacos. (I probably didn't use enough cayenne pepper?) I really liked these, my bf is used to more authentic tacos but he still gave them a thumbs up.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
Definitely 5 stars!! My bf had been bugging me to make peanut butter cookies and knowing that he LOVES peanut butter cups, I thought these would be perfect for him. I followed the recipe exactly and was not disappointed. Very easy to make and the cookies are delicious both fresh out of the oven & the next day. NOTE: I didn't use the mini muffin pan, just a regular cookie sheet and had no problems.

Goat Cheese Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
The goat cheese & salmon combined is delicious! I would make about 1/2 of the mustard/mayo mix that the recipe calls for. Other then that I followed the recipe exactly and it tasted great. Very easy to make.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
As a total beginner cook, this recipe was so helpful & simple! My bf & I just moved in to our own place so I am trying to find easy recipes to make for dinner every night. He loved the chicken. Instead of onion powder, I chopped up some real onion and threw it in the pan.
