A woman who has a couple jobs, but loves to cook in between. There are days where I come home at 9:30 p.m. and I end up cooking a meal that I thought of during the day at 11:00 at night. It's not good for the waist, but cooking puts me at east. I like trying new things. New recipies are fun. I never know if how they came out is how they are supposed to taste, but it's fun trying. Pound cake made by my grandmother. I have attempted it several times and they have worked out at times, and others I wished she was still here for me to ask questions. When I make it, I definitely think of her and miss her. I made a sweet potato pie with potatoes from a can. I wouldn't do it all the time, but in a rush it wasn't bad. I made gravy and thought that the added milk portion was just the same as adding egg nog milk...YUCK! He ate it, but I could tell it did not go over at all!
