Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
Nice authentic recipe. I used chicken granules because that's what I had and it turned out tasty. My pot was not as big as it should have been so I ended up with 3/4 gallon instead. More water may have diluted it too much. I will make this again for sure. By the way, boiled chicken is smelly :) and I didn't expect that. The chicken was fresh so I knew there was nothing wrong with it. Just a little warning for those who will wonder.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This recipe is so over rated. What a disappointment. Please don't expect more than a so-so chicken casserole.

White Chili with Chicken

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
Fantastic, easy and healthy. The lime really gives it that little something. I also used cilantro because I was out of parsley. I didn't have chilis so I used a pinch of cayenne. Also, used a little extra corn starch to thicken it because I like my chili thicker. Thanks Christy for posting this recipe!

Pretty good. I served with asparagus, a nice combo, and rice.

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
This is the one I'll go to because it is quick, easy and tasty. My husband and kids love it. I don't boil the chicken because I think seasoning it with salt and pepper then cooking in a pan with olive oil and a little butter makes the chicken have good flavor, not bland. This I do ahead of time so I can mix all the other ingredience together when I'm ready to bake it. I also add garlic and onion powder, a little salt and fresh gound pepper. I go for one can of mixed veg so no need to banch. Takes 5 minutes to mix and get it into the oven. Also, I only cook it for 50 minutes at 350. I don't egg wash the crust and it comes out great. My husband says don't change a thing. This is right on.

Broccoli with Poppy Seed Butter and Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
Not bad, but now wow either. If I ordered this in a restuarant I wouldn't go back just for the broccoli. I'll make it again because it is a different, but I'll add something to it switch it up a bit and give it more life.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
This is delicious and easy to make, but not amazing when compared to all the other great cookies in the world. I made it to the recipe and added some vanilla to the dry mix and lemon to the raspberry (yum). The bars are too sweet for me. Next time I will not use a cake mix so that I can add the amount of sugar necessary.

Greek Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
For me to give this a rating of five stars is huge. Delicious and easy to make with lot's to share and keep for yourself. I get many request for this one and I am so pleased to make it. However, I use a hardier twisty pasta that looks more appealing and much tastier. Make the day before for best taste and to get it done ahead of time.

White Wine Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
This is now one of my favorites. I didn't use mayo, instead I put in an egg, vinegar, sugar, dried mustard to the wine/soup mix. I added crumbled bacon with the bread crumbs because I had some. Next time I will cube potatoes and add them as well.

Pineapple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
This recipe was quick and easy. When I started making this I thought I had pineapple, but I had to use canned pears. My husband said the pears were the best part of the dish. I also added red onion, fresh pepper, ginger, and garlic. The pork did turn out dry, as I expected only because that was what others had wrote. How do I fix that? Wish I knew. Will I make it again? Maybe.
