Banana Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
These are great! The recipe is perfect the way it is. Or, using bananas that had been frozen, I cut the sour cream to one cup. And, they were just as great as non-frozen bananas and two cups of sour cream.

Banana Cake V

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
The best banana cake I have ever made! And, it was so easy. I upped the servings to 18 so that it would work well in a 9x13in pan and topped it with cream cheese icing.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
As is the recipe is stellar great on Banana Cake, Carrot Cake, etc. I tried the 4oz cream cheese, 4oz butter to 2cups confectioners' sugar....that was fine but not stellar.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Very pretty muffins. Nice flavor. Not as healthy as one of the recipes with oatmeal and some whole wheat flour....but, definitely a keeper!

Pastry Cream for Pies

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
This was very good. I made it a second time with 1/2 cup of Heavy Cream and 1/2 cups of Whole Milk. Much richer...very, very good. Great filling for Boston Cream Pie.

Banana Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
These were great! Very light and moist! Very easy to make with my 5yo & 7yo darlings. I did throw in 3/4 cup of very fresh, plump blueberries. After reading the other reviews, I will try replacing some of the AP flour with whole wheat next time. I'll bet a cup of toasted walnuts would also be excellent in these.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Great traditional muffins! I have now made these several times. I do add 1t of vanilla extract to the recipe. Sometimes I make the recipe without the chocolate chips.....fill 6 of the muffin cups with plain batter....then, gently fold in the chips for the other 6 muffin cups so that I end up with some with chips...and, some plain tender muffins. I can only assume that those that are adding the extra milk are looking for a muffin that is more like a cup cake.
