Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I subbed 1/2 cup butter for 1/4 c. butter, 1/4 c. applesauce. I also used 1/4 c. sugar in the raw and 1/4 c. white sugar. Absolutely delicious. This will be my new go-to banana bread recipe!

Fresh Mango Salsa

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These are yummy! I did not have instant coffee, so i just made a very strong tablespoon of french press coffee. I did not taste the coffee flavor at all, but they made delicious chocolate chip banana muffins. I also only used 2 bananas, and the banana flavor is plenty strong. Because I live at a very high altitude (12,000 ft), I added 1/4 cup flour and an extra egg for a fluffier consistency.

Raspberry Chicken Salad

Good, but next time I'll use dark chocolate. The marshmallows and the whipping cream made it sweet, but not deeply rich. I added dulce de leche, a caramel-type sauce, for a turtle pie-like taste.

Raspberry Balsamic Dressing

I added an extra tablespoon of raspberry preserves so the balsamic vinegar would not be an overbearing flavor as well as a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Served with my own version of allrecipes' Raspberry Chicken Salad, it was delicious!

Hello Dolly Cookies

I did as others suggested and made a graham cracker crust. I mixed in a little condensed milk with the other dry ingredients just to get it to hold together well before cooking. I suggest 20 minutes rather than 25-30. They are tasty, but a bit overdone.

Sun-Dried Tomato Hummus

My new favorite hummus! I cooked my own garbanzo beans and I think the consistency was a little dry because of that. So I had to add some water and significantly more olive oil...maybe a cup? I love the fresh basil. Excellent recipe!

Mmm, mmm, mmm! I live at a very high altitude, so I adjusted by adding extra flour and 1 more egg. Love the combination of pumpkin, spices and chocolate!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Really yummy flavor. I would suggest flattening the chicken breasts with a mallet first to serve them restaurant-style. The breading was not very crispy, though. Maybe next time I'll use less sauce??? Will make again.

Cinnamon Rolls II

What happened??? I finally asked my friend for this recipe after falling in love with her oh-so-tasty cinnamon rolls. I tried it, and they did not turn out even close to the same. I added a little extra flour because the dough was not workable with 6 cups. I let them bake for a few extra minutes because they were doughy at 25, but then they were overdone. I also let them sit for 2 hours before baking but they hardly rose. Any suggestions for making them better next time?!?! I know they can be yummy, but somehow these were a flop!

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

I always end up adding a lot more flour so the dough isn't so sticky while kneading. It's very yummy and has been a big hit at parties!

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

These are so tasty! I live overseas where it's impossible to find macadamia nuts, so I used chopped Brazil nuts instead. Even at high altitude with no adjustments, they were delicious!
