Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Made recipe as is and turned out great, not flat but did not over mix. This is a keeper for sure!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
Wicked good chicken. No a crumb left! So moist and juicy. Use panko bread crumbs and had a nice crispy coating. Used pre-shreaded cheese from Costco (cheddar and montrey jack). Lots of extra butter so might cut that down a bit. Kids told me I had better make that again!!! I used foil on the bottom and clean up was a snap!

Beef Stew VI
This stew was so good my kids even said "this is the best stew I have ever had!". I made a few changes after reading other comments. In a plastic bag I put 1/4 cup flour, teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and mustard powder. The I added the stew meat in batches and shook it. Then I cooked it in my dutch oven with some oil till lighly browned. This adds excellent flavor to the meat. I then browned the onion in the remaining oil and scrapped up those brown bits on the bottom of the pot. Once the onion was translucent I deglazed the rest with about a 1/2 cup of red wine. I cooked that for about 5 minutes before adding the meat and rest of the liquids to cook of some of the alcohol. I did add more vegetables as others suggested (1 more carrot, celery, potato) I added 1/2 of an extra onion with the addition of the veggies. I also took the advice of another reviewer and added 1 tblsp of ketchup, HP Sauce, and worcestershire sauce -great advice...I was told by my husband "I would pay money for quality!"
