Pork Medallions

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
This is a decent base recipe. I found it to be bland and the pork was very tough. Made it exactly as the recipe stated.... Recommend marinating the pork at least an hour prior to cooking and adding more garlic. Will try again with my own touches...

Herby Roasted Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
When reading this review please keep in mind I am a garlic lover, and like a lot of spice to my food... Followed the recipe exactly as stated and could not stand the end result. The parsley overpowered all other ingredients... To make the wedges edible I tossed them in fat-free Italian Dressing. Will not be making these again, sorry.

Bacon Roll Ups II

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
The only change I made was I used onion and chive cream cheese. Baked at 350 for 20 minutes then broiled on high for 8 minutes to make the bacon crispy... Served this at a football party. The male guests LOVED these, female guests (myself included) didn't care for them... If you are hosting a party with mostly males, this recipe is for you.

Tangy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Followed recipe almost to a "T". Turned out amazing!.... Instead of 1 cup of lemon juice only used the juice from 1 lemon. 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp black pepper, 1 cup worsteshire sauce, 1 cup veg oil, 1 large yellow onion quartered and 4 cloves of garlic. Marinated the chicken overnight... Baked the chicken at 425. Half way through poured remaining marinate over chicken. Served with fried potato wedges... Delicious!!!!

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
I did these for a party and they were a huge hit. Another reviewer mentioned you should drain relish... I did not, and the mixture was rather runny.

Currant Jelly Wiener Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
I followed this recipe exactly as stated when I did the menu for my mother's 50th birthday party. Needless to say, I received nothing but compliments. A little piece of advice: It takes the entire 2 hours (maybe more) for the end result to emerge... My dad tasted the sauce about 1 hour into cooking and he said it was awful. He tried it again 2.5 hours later and wouldn't move away from the crok pot.
