Vegan-Friendly Falafel

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
awesome! i forgot to peel the potato, i used a yukon gold. i used 8 cloves of garlic and juice of one whole lemon. it was a little too wet, so i just added a bit more flour, maybe 2 extra tablespoons. they fried up fabulous, but i don't know how they would have baked as wet as there were, but, that is my fault for winging it! YUMMY! served it with tzatziki and tahini dressings.

Michael's Foccacia Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
i used up the rest of some flour i had that was getting old. i used half all purpose half whole wheat for the five cups called for. i also only used 1 packet of active dry yeast. i liked the idea of sauteing onions for this, and it got me thinking, why not go all out and add sun dried tomatoes, olives, and some left over pepperoni i needed to also use up? i did end up adding a bit more flour to get rid of some of the excess moisture from the extra added ingredients i put it. i used italian seasonings instead of just rosemary and did a mix of parmesan and asiago cheeses on top. i am really trying hard to not eat more of it right now. i will be using this recipe again!
