Whitechapel Shepherd's Pie

Wonderful. I had some leftover mashed potatoes with rutabagas and that gave me the incentive to try this recipe. I did not have peas, so I used edamame, and I can't eat lamb(but love it) so I used ground turkey. Very tasty! I would make this again-hubby and I ate this two nights in a row.

Chef John's Minestrone Soup

Chef John never disappoints! I made this soup with turkey bacon instead of pancetta (I can't eat pork), spinach instead of swiss chard and white cannellini beans instead of the cranberry beans specified. Amazing flavor. Many thanks, Chef.

New Brunswick Lobster Casserole

I would rate this recipe 10 stars if I could! What a wonderful dish. Next time, I am going to use a mixture of seafood because the lobster is just too pricey.

Greek Shrimp Dish From Santorini

The sauce was outstanding! The shrimp became overcooked. I will make this dish again, but I will cook the shrimp, sprinkle with the feta cheese and run it under the broiler for a few moments.

Sugar Snap Peas

What a great way to fix snap peas! I roast almost any kind of veggie, but never thought to try it with this one. This would be great to serve as a snack with drinks.

Italian Style Sausage

This is a fantastic recipe for turkey sausage! I did, of course, tweak it a bit. I added 1/2 the salt. I added fennel seed and used the Italian Seasoning from the Tuscany Bread Dipping Herbs that I get from the supermarket, in addition to all of the other herbs and spices. My husband loved this recipe!!

Dynamite Bourbon Ribs

I didn't have bourbon, so I improvised and used Southern Comfort and marinated the ribs overnight. I reduced the remaining marinade and used it as a glaze to brush on the ribs while they were grilling. Needless to say they were amazing! What a great recipe, thank you!

Zucchini Quiche

This is a great standard recipe. I didn't have ricotta cheese OR half and half, so I used lowfat cottage cheese and no fat evaporated skim milk and I whizzed the mixture up in a small food processer. I added grated cheese and lots of Italian seasoning. Along with the mozzarella, I added some goat cheese. I followed the advice of other members and sliced the zucchini on a box grater to get a thin, uniform slice. I sauteed the zucchini with sweet onion until translucent. My husband and I both thought the taste and texture was excellent! We will be eating this often. Thank you!

Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

My husband loved this. I do not eat any meat (because it does not agree with me.) I added some dijon mustard to the glaze. Easy and fast. Have fun with this!!

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

This recipe was an absolute his with my 18 guests for Thanksgiving this year. The taste, texture and color of the dish is terrific. I used turkey bacon. I will be serving this often. Many thanks for a great addition to my recipe collection.
