Grandma's Graham Cracker Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
This is my fondest childhood food memory. My grandmother made it, and I loved it. This is just like hers. Not too sweet. Although I made it as the recipe says, I will modify that next time. I will make less graham cracker crust, and I will add 1 Tab of flour to the corn starch. Thanks for the memories!

Paleo Jelly Donut Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2013
This is a great recipe! I had agave instead of honey, and had no jam to add, but it still came out great! Thanks for a paleo breakfast.

Authentic Cincinnati Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
I am from Ohio, and this is the best! The method of cooking beef in water, is exactly the texture you are looking for in "skyline" chili. The native way is over spaghetti, also great as a footlong chili dog, chili topped burgers, or any other way you can think of to use a thick chili.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
These are unbelievably good! The ingredient list may sound odd, but the results are the creamiest potatoes. The recipe is perfect as written. Team these with Beth's Meat Loaf, from this sight and a salad and you have one great meal!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
I have been making this recipe for years. Great take in dish. Can easily be cut in half with small sodas. I have used any clear soda available, with wonderful results. I substite brown sugar for the white, I like the color better. I also add a dash of nutmeg or mace, whatever you would use in apple pie. Enjoy!

Best Ever Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2014
I loved this tuna salad! We have all made tuna sandwiches most of our lives. This one is creamy and tasty. I used honey mustard salad dressing in lieu of mustard and sweet relish, 2 tbs. Followed the rest, exactly. Delish!

Perfect Flourless Orange Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
We are a gluten free household and we loved this cake! DH particularly loves orange flavor. The only changes I made were for dietary restrictions, 1/2 c. sugar & 1/4 tsp. stevia powder with the eggs. I also added a pinch of salt to almond meal. It was very beautifully orangey. Just love it.

Pear and Cheddar Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
I used gluten free flour, because I am gluten free. Added some ground almond meal to the crumb top. Used minute tapioca instead of cornstarch to the filling. I always use tapioca with fresh fruit pies. And added some sharp cheddar to the filling as well. YUMMMMMM!!

I made this for Christmas day appetizers. It is delicious!! Was completly eaten by my guests. I already had everything on hand, so I ended up using onion and chive whipped cream cheese. Worked great. Thank you for a gluten free, low carb appetizer.
