Buttery Spritz Cookies

Very tasty and stay soft. I liked the powdered sugar in it instead of the granulated, I think that is what keeps it soft. I tried a couple of recipes and this is by far the best. The only thing I changed was that I didn't have almond extract so used the vanilla for that. I found the dough perfect for the press, not sure what happened to the ones that were too sticky or too dry, must be operator error there. Thanks!

Play Dough Cookies

Very tasty cookie, stayed soft even couple of days after baked. Couldn't quite get mine to look as pretty as the picture, maybe practice makes perfect. Trying this recipe out as just a regular sugar cookie.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Great recipe, tweeked it per other reviews. Cut granulated sugar to 1 1/2 cups and added 1 cup of confectioner's sugar. Added a little more sweetness to it and helped with the stickiness everyone was talking about. Had no issues with rolling. Thanks, will use this one again.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Deep Fried Dill Pickles

Deep fried pickles are the best! First reaction of people is "What?!?" Then they try them and are hooked! Dip them in Ranch dressing for something really good!

easy to make, had good flavor. Added 1/4-1/2 milk to soups since other reviews said it was dry and we didn't have that problem. Think next time though will add chopped stewed tomatoes for something extra.

German Potato Pancakes

very easy, used food processor with shredder blade to make quick work of potatoes. Added extra egg when all mixed up because it didn't seem enough with just the two, but I might have used larger potatoes then called for. Very good flavor, my husband even gave a 'yummy wiggle' when first ate it!

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Very delicious, just as good as those you find at fancy restaurants. Easy to make, first time though didn't have extra large muffin paper so just used the muffin tin...not so easy coming out, kind of just fell apart. Second time used silicone texas muffin liners and went full 10-11 minutes, worked like a charm! Thanks for a great recipe!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Used a pork rub to put a little spice to it and let it go in a crock pot for about 6 hours. Made up the Bourbon whisky barbeque sauce recipe on this website and came out with a fantastic meal. Easy to do!

Deni's Strawberry Cheese Pie

was pretty much sweet cream soup with strawberries. followed the recipe exactly except decreased the lemon juice and it was just slosh in a pie shell. I even had it in the fridge for longer than the 2 hours recommended. On the upside it had a good flavor.

Hot Buttered Rum Batter

I never had a hot buttered rum drink before this one, and now I am hooked. It was easy to make and delicious to drink. I did the 2 scoops and it was a bit sweet, so the next one might be just one scoop ( or maybe just more rum was needed!) Perfect for the holidays! Thanks Sheri

Sauerkraut Balls

I grew up in Cleveland area too and didn't realize that sauerkraut balls were really just known up there until telling a few friends that I hadn't them in years...of course I got the "what is a sauerkraut ball??" Made these for them and now they too are sold on them. Dipped them in 1000 island dressing and they were calling them little ruben balls. Thanks for a great and easy recipe! P.S. To save time, I skip the batter part and just roll each ball in egg and then dip in italian bread crumbs. Still just as yummy without all the mess.

Fluffy French Toast

I used texas toast bread to make this and it was delicious. Follow the recipe like it says to add the milk to the flour first. I just dumped everything into the bowl and read the instructions afterwards and ended up with little flour lumps....still tasty though.

Vanilla Sauce

I also got a very watery syrup that would not thicken up, but I think the problem is that the submitter put in her recipe to use white sugar meaning confectioner sugar not regular granulated sugar, though when a normal recipe calls for white sugar it is usually means regular sugar so thats what I used. I figured I would try it again with the powdered sugar and see if that comes out better.

Caribbean Rum Punch

quite yummy, i put malibu rum in it too for an extra kick. and the saying is easy to remember!! friends and family all thought it quite tasty too. reminded us of the jolly roger cruise rum punch in the caribbean!! BTW a little secret from the workers on the booze cruise is to add a smidge of nutmeg to the punch. Adds just a little something to the taste.

Spinach Quiche

Tasted really good. Did have lots of egg mixture left, so use this recipe to make 2 pies instead of one. Gotta figure a way to make it less fat, for a more healthy meal. But boy, its good!
