I took this dish to a "Septoberfest" party and it got rave reviews and was goobled up. Perfect fall side dish.

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
Great recipe. We added the powdered sugar a little at a time, so we didn't get too much. Still trying to figure out a way to get the chocolate/peanut butter mix more evenly distributed...

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
This was very tasty. I also added chicken to this recipe to make a hearty casserole to serve as a main course and topped with Italian bread crumbs instead of crackers. My 6 year old daughter loved it.

Zippy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
Excellent. The perfect comfort food on a cold Sunday in November! Loved the curry, its just the right amount. The best shepherd's pie recipe I've found to date. I used frozen mixed veggies (carrots, peas, green peans, corn, lima beans). Added sour cream, salt & pepper to the mashed potatoes.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
This was pretty good. I've never had falafel before, so have nothing to compare it to. I think next time I will take the advice of many other reviewers and bake it instead. I ended up draining the oil and browning a crumbly mess in the pan. My daughter loved the falafel but not the sauce. My husband liked the sauce and made some comment along the lines of "its a good thing I'm not a vegetarian," but he did have seconds!

Guacamole

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Excellent guacamole recipe...my sister and I use the same recipe, but we still have competitions for whose is better...you can easily add more cilantro, adjust the salt, cayenne pepper, etc. to make a more distinguished flavor. I also like to leave my avocado a little chunkier! Muy delicioso!

Garlic Salmon

Very good salmon recipe. It was easy and beautiful. Our family loves salmon and always looking for different way to prepare it. This recipe comes in second next to blackened salmon.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This was just okay. I've had some pretty good cheeseburger soups in restaurants and they don't have potatoes in them and taste more like cheeseburger. It was an okay soup, but I wouldn't classify it as "Cheeseburger"

White Chili I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I really love the flavor...I would consider it a great recipe for chicken tortilla soup rather than a chili bc as many other reviewers mentioned, its more of a soupy broth.

Barbecued Round Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
Very tasty and flavorful. Beef came out very tender. Great way to use up cheap cuts of beef. My husband thought it was a little too much vinegar, but overall he liked it and would eat it again.

Chicken Paprikash

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
Very tasty. Used Spanish paprika because that's what I had. Tasted even better reheated the second day. Great creamy hearty dish...perfect for fall, and the dumplings were easy enough for my 4 year old to help make.

Skillet Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
I came across this recipe like many others trying to find different ways to use up the gigantic zucchini. I followed the recipe as is; however, to try and avoid the mushy mess so many complained about, I drained the veggies after they were cooking (with soy sauce added), but in a serving dish and then topped with shredded cheese and bread crumbs. The bacon is definitely the secret ingredient that gives all the great flavor.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
Very creamy indeed. A little too much pepper to be a kid pleaser in my house, but a great substitution for those who like a little spice is to use Velveeta pepperjack cheese...I loved it!

Refreshing Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
Great flavor and very refreshing. I wish I would have peeled the cucumbers first...the peel is a little tough. I don't mind the "runny" dressing; however, to take some of the bitterness and water out of the cucumbers, put salt on cucumber and let sit for five minutes and then drain before mixing in the rest of the ingredients.
