Pennsylvania Dutch Pickled Beets and Eggs

I left out the onion,cloves & bay leaves but did everything else & loved the results.

Loved this simple recipe. Used Hormel bacon bits,omitted the onion, & added shredded lettuce. also drained tomatoes on paper towel. yummy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

through everything in the crockpot in the moring & spent the day outside shoveling & playing with the kids in the snow. came in to put biscuits on top & went back outside. when everyone came in cold, wet & hungry it tasted amazing. chicken was moist & everyone had seconds.

Mom's Buttermilk Cookies

Got snowed in today & decided to use up my buttermilk. The whole family loved them! Very easy to make & tastes great! I used cinnamon sugar instead of icing & everyone said they taste better than the store bought ones I had paid over 3.00 for 6 big cookies. I wont be doing that again. thanks for the recipe.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I added semi sweet chocolate chips, cut back the sugar a bit & put in a bundt pan. delicious. my picky kids ate it up!

Ilove cream cheese so I used the 8oz. pkg & this dip was awesome! It was great with the strawberries, watermellon & cantelope but....its also good right off the spoon:)

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

loved the peanut butter flavor, not too sweet. mine didnt look as "whipped" as the photo shows but it spread nicely & tasted great. will definately use this recipe again.
