I don't know where I went wrong. I followed the suggestion from one of the reviewers regarding the added rings of lime. Then I added a 3 stems of lemongrass. (perhaps the lemongrass was too old, is that possible) Other than that I followed the recipe as directed. My soup started off on the money. It tasted so good. Then after the 15 minutes of simmer time it went from wonderful to YUCK....very bitter. So bitter in fact that it's inedible. I don't know what I may have done wrong. The recipe seems to be a good one.

This was a moist cake but, I didn't get a strong flavor. It was kinda bland..even with 1 1/2 cups of bananas! I'll try it again by adding another spice to it and perhaps using brn sugar.

This was quite good. I've made other versions of Adoo Chicken and like the searing of the chicken first prior to cooking in the sauce better then just putting it in raw. Otherwise a keeper. I added coco milk, peppercorns, and bay leaves like others who've commented. My family ate it up and the house smelled great. Love the slow cooker!

A real treat. I followed the suggestions of others and changed the temp from 450 to 400 and baked for 12 mintues. Then went down to 350 for another 15-20 min. I added about 1 TBS of orange and lemon zest to the batter B4 baking. They came out great. For the filling I used 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 8oz of cream cheese, and 1/2 cup of sugar mix...

Made this for my family and it was a hit!! I changed the quantity of vegestables a bit adding more onions, celery, and used red potatoes. I also mixed the broth by using 1/2 chicken and 1/2 vegetable broth. It was delicous!

I've made this twice now and both times it came out great. The smell in the house was amazing and being that I love Garam Masala I was ever so pleased to try this. Expect a juicey chicen and a great taste from all the garlic and lime combo. The only thing I did different the 2nd time was add more lime juice prior to putting the rub on and added extra garlic.

Reading about so many chili contest winners I thought this recipe must be good. I made Rick's Chili for a contest and got 1st place. WOW!! I also had friends over to try it and they wanted some to take home. It was such a huge hit. I did change the following: 1. Used only 1/2 of an 18oz bottle of BBQ sauce 2. Used only 1/2 of the Chili powder (it was all I had) and used cayenne pepper for the rest. 3. Added some coarse pepper It was an amazing taste along side some corn bread!!
