No Beans About It - Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This was absolutely fabulous! We don't care for beans, so it was great to find a recipe of an old favorite suited for us. I took the advice of other reviewers and only added 1/4 cup of the vinegar. Turned out great. Thank you!!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Had an exceptional taste, but was a little dry. Needed a little more "sauce". I recommend adding an extra can of tomato paste to the sauce.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
I have never been able to make a stew that I like, and I have grown tired of the "packets" of stew mix that just don't taste right. This recipe was delicious and the seasonings were perfect. Easy to make and the meat was very tender.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
These meatballs were delicious! I've been looking for a good Italian Meatball recipe for a long time and I think I have found the one. Served on spaghetti for dinner and on good crusty rolls as leftovers the next night.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

This dish was very good! I took a reviewers tip to add a bouillion cube to the mix. I also had to thickien the sauce up a bit with cornstarch, but otherwise was delicious!

Southwest Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
This was very good! I had to make ours "gluten fre" due to hubby's diet. Even with these changes it was very good, so I can imagine the original version is good too! Our "gluten free" version: don't coat the chicken with flour (this was suggested in other reviews as unnecessary anyways), and use a potato flakes in place of the bread crumbs. Very good!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
We really enjoyed this! Not quite the true chicken and dumplings, but much easier and still tasty! Next time I make this, I won't use as much of the bisquit dough.

This turned out super delicious. Our only variation was using gluten free Penne pasta.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
These cookies were delicious. I followed another reviewers advice and took them out after the 8-10 minutes even though I didn't think they looked done. But they were and they tasted great!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

This was very good. We served ours over white rice. Only suggestion is perhaps a little less bell pepper strips.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
The taste was exceptional, but the fluids in mine were too much. I couldn't get them to cook down without overcooking it. I'll reduce the amounts next time I make this great tasting recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
This recipe was ok. I'll give it 4 stars based on the hope that some other reviewers suggestions might hold true. My problem with the original is it was just to cream cheesy and the sauce was a little too thick. Next time I will try reducing the cream cheese to maybe 4-6 oz and adding either red wine or broth as others have suggested.

Beef Taco Skillet

Reviewed: May 26, 2009
Was a good base recipe. I added cumin, chili powder and garlic to season it up a bit. I read the other reviews too late about the tortillas mushing up, and sure enough that is what happened. Would be good as others have suggested to use corn tortilla chips instead.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
Was a good recipe. I cooked it per the time on the recipe and it came out a little toO tough. Then all the brown sugar carmelized and made the bottoms very hard. But not too hard to eat! Was very good!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
I forgot to cover it for the first part and got a little worried when I went to add the barbeque sauce, but it came out very moist and delicious! Go figure! I added a lot more barbeque sauce per our tastes, but was a delicious recipe!
