I am an avid reader who suffers an insatiable sweet tooth from which I am desparately struggling to wean myself. (Y'all pray for me!) I enjoy solitude and prefer rain and overcast skies to the sunshine and detest uninvited guests! Other than that, I'm pretty kewl peeps! ;)
My favorite things to cook
As a married mother of three, I have to be honest and admit that my favorite things to cook are dishes that are quick, don't require me to stand over the stove for too long, and still taste hella good!
My cooking triumphs
When it comes to food, my husband is one of the pickiest people I have ever met! We are like night and day; where I enjoy trying new things, he finds comfort in the usual. BOOORING!!! So, for me, a cooking triumph is whenever I can get him to try something new; doesn't happen often, but there have been a few times. I mean, at least...

French Toast I
This recipe was just right as is! I admit I used store bought French bread, and doubled the measurements as I cooked for 4! My family killed it! Thanks for this recipe as I will DEFINITELY add it to my breakfast rotation!

Easy Sugar Cookies
My family was feening for something sweet, so I hopped online to this site in search for something that would not satisfy their sweet tooth, but also be a breeze to prepare. I won't lie, I was drawn by the key word in the title...EASY! LOL This recipe was on point! Not only was it easy and quick to prepare and bake, but it was just the right amount of sweetness. For the softened butter, I simply nuked it in the microwave until it was soft and partially melted, and it worked lovely. I decided to bake the cookies for 8 minutes as they came out soft and chewy; my family's preference. The dough easily yielded 4 dozen as well, something I was pleased with. I will DEFINITELY be adding this recipe to my rotation of sweets!

Baked Omelet Roll
I just tried this recipe about an hour ago. I was looking for something quick to make for breakfast and came across this recipe. This really is a nice recipe! I made minor adjustments. After pouring the mixture into the baking pan, I sprinkled the top with diced onions and bell peppers to suit my taste. Also, instead of about 20 minutes, I baked for only about 9; it cooks rather quickly. I admit I didn't roll it, just simply sliced it into small pieces and served. I gave this recipe 5 stars as I think it presents a wealth of options in that so much can be done with it. Even though this was my first attempt at this recipe, I was pleased and will return to it again! Thanks for uploading this recipe!
