Sausage and Bow-Tie Pasta Florentine

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
My family really enjoyed this meal, well, my son didn't care for the spinach part. Oh, well. It was very good. I opted not to use the spicy Italian sausage and used mild. Still very yummy!!

Turkey Garbanzo Bean and Kale Soup with Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I was a little worried about all the ingredients in this soup. But it really does mingle tastes well. I followed the recipe almost to a T. The only thing I did different was to make 1/2 the pasta called for, cooked according to box and added to the soup just before serving. My family really enjoyed it as well. Plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Thanks!!!

Salmon Wellington

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Oh My Goodness!!! This recipe was WONDERFUL! My whole family and I loved it. The only thing I did not have where the correct spices, so I used thyme and basil. It was still wonderful. I will be going to get the dill on my grocery list. I had 4 4oz salmon so I cut the 2 dough rolls in half for each piece. We enjoyed it so much. I took leftovers for lunch the next day. I would recommend a toaster oven and not a microwave to reheat. Thanks for the wonderful recipe we will be eating it again soon.

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
This was a nice change of pace for our fish meal. I did take the advice of some of the reviews and added Dijon rather than regular mustard and vinaigrette rather than vinegar. I think the only thing I would change is letting the fish marinate in the mixture for the whole day. I would have liked it to be throughout the fish, not just on the top. My family really liked it and we will have it again.

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
My son and I LOVED this recipe. I made enough to give to another family the next day. It froze well and baked up well. I took the little bit that was left over to work with me and had it for lunch. I followed the directions closely. We substituted a few items, I used fat free sour cream and low fat cream cheese. We also used low fat shredded cheese for the top. Rather than sugar I used splenda. It was wonderful and we enjoyed it. Thanks, we will definitely eat this again!!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I also used whole wheat flour rather than the white flour and splenda (cooking) rather than sugar. It was a bit too heavy with the whole wheat flour, next time I make it I'll use less. The taste was wonderful. We enjoyed it for a couple of days. I do not have a cast iron skillet either and used a pot to boil the mixture. I put the mix in a pie dish, it did run over. Next time I'll be sure to put the cookie sheet below it. It was fabulous with ice cream.

Messy Burgers

Yes, this was an easy dinner. However, it lacked in flavor. I even added more garlic. Not sure that we will eat this again. But thank you for the quick meal.
