Chestnut Soup

Very good and super easy. One thing I did though is to saute the onion and chestnuts in butter before adding the broth.

Baked Trout Fillets

Awesome yummy. I did cut down on the sour cream and added 2 tbsp of fat free miracle whip and I also added 1/2 tsp of onion and garlic powder and did as one reviewer said and put sliced onions with a pat of butter on the bottom instead of chopped in.

Dessert Crepes

OMG, I never write reviews but these were so good and so easy that I just had to write. I was skeptical because they were so easy. I put cherry preserves and cream cheese in mine with some whipped cream on top...frightfully good!

I was pretty disappointed with this cake as it was very bland. I was very surprised considering all the rave reviews. This is my first negative review. I even added 1/4 c of sugar but it didn't help.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

This was awesome! I did add spices to the chicken batter garlic and onion powder, accent salt and I added scallions, carrots and water chestnuts. One of the best dishes I've ever made. I also added a small jar of sweet and sour sauce to the sauce.

King Crab Appetizers

Yummy, I used 1 cup of cheddar cheese, added 1 tsp of Old Bay Seasoning, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and a squirt of lemon juice...oh and 2 cans of crab and sauteed the scallions and added some minced garlic cloves...delish!

Bread Pudding III

This was very good. The only thing I did was to add a brandy hard sauce when it was done and a dollop of whipped cream. The brandy sauce was store bought but boy did it make it.

David's Yellow Cake

This was delish, however, I think I know why some cakes fall (mine did as well but it was still delish)...try it again with fresh baking power. Mine was old and I will get some new baking powder and try it again. I made 1/4th of the recipe and made 5 cupcakes which only needed 18 minutes to bake. I beat the butter and sugar for 5 minutes and sifted the flour mixture twice (as recommended), the cake was not dry at all. OK, I went and bought new baking powder and the cupcakes still sunk...anyone out there with any suggestions?

Banana Cream Pie I

This pie is crying good! Makes you cry it tastes so darn good. I've never done a review before and signed on just to rate this pie. BTW, those that had runny pies didn't boil it long enough. And I also didn't bake it.
