Was really really good. But some notes: do not waste 1/2 cup butter you only need like 4 tablespoons with a pastry brush, would have been way too buttery and greasy with the full 1/2 cup. Also, I only used like 1/4 cup of sugar for the topping and added a little more cinnamon.

Came out nice, fluffy, and yummy...forgot to sift together flour the first time and came out more like a bread.(lol) But the second time I took someones suggestion and sifted it twice. The only thing like bothers me is just cooking it because it doesn't really have those bubbles on the edges and on top.

This looks so good!, but its 430 calories! I'll probably make this when its a holiday.

It tasted like bread with just a hint of sugar in it. I followed the recipe exactly, so I don't think it was a fowl on my part. The recipe is just not that good, unless you want a bread that looks like cookie.

I followed Giggletush comment and it came out really really good. Though a little sugary. I used soymilk instead of whole milk. I didn't use as much salt as giggletush said to use I just used dash or so.

These were super dry and made a revision of the sugar. I reduced 3 cups of sugar down to 1 cup and they tasted pretty good. Also, they held its shape...probably add like water or some milk to moistener it up.

Ended up being way too sugary. If I made this again would only use like 1/3-2/3 of sugar.

If I made these again, I would grease the edges since the edges were hard to get out. I took in some comments like SallyCats'. Though I didn't add that much lemon as she suggested. I think with any lemon based product, it really depends on your taste. So I started to taste as I went on adding the lemon, I added the eggs at the end so I wouldn't have tasted the egg as I went on testing how much lemon to put in. They were good overall, just taking a star away from the direction's technical errors.

This icing came out really really really yummy but I do not recommend using corn syrup just because its not that good for you. I used some not a lot of light olive oil/ water. Then I just decided just to use a little of water like 1/4 tsp of it and it came out perfect. If 1/4 tsp isn't enough water just keep using little by little until you get a good consistency of the icing. I had funny decorating my sugar cookies with this. =)
