Pasta with Asparagus

Followed the advice of others and added chopped garlic. Sauteed everything at the same time for about 6 minutes. Good with any pasta, but especially tasty with asparagus ravioli from the WSM. Served with salad and Coppola Bianco.

Indian Eggplant - Bhurtha

This was very good. It was not overly hot, but still very tasty. I served it over couscous. I added a can of mixed fava beans and chick peas which increased the protein and added an extra texture to the dish. Will definitely fix again.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Excellent recipe. I went a bit more Italian and used Sargento Bistro cheese, mozarella and provolone mixed with sundried tomatoes and basil. I also added Italian spices.

Salmon and Pesto with Rice

This is a tasty but mild recipe. Very good if planning other activities for the evening. Used brown rice and skinless salmon filets. Very easy if you don't have to make the pesto.

Honey Glazed Scallops

Served with brown basmati and wild rice and French cut green beans. Clos du Bois Riesling. Did not create a glaze but stayed saucy instead. Sauce good on the rice.

Baked Flounder

Very good. Served with brown Basmati and wild rice and a salad. Best with a Sauvignon Blanc. Tasty dish that can be served when other activities are planned for the evening.

Mediterranean Tilapia

Very good. Served with Meridian Pinot Grigio, spinach pasta, and salad. Put topping in the oven with the fish for five minutes. Total cooking time was 20 minutes, but a little longer would also be fine.

Shrimp Dijonnaise

Cooked on the Celphalon grill. Very good with roasted potatoes and brussels sprouts. Served with Blue Dog, but could also go with Chardonnay.

Oven-Fried Catfish

Excellent recipe. Fixed exactly like the original recipe suggested, except baked for 25 minutes rather than 15. Served with sweet potato fries and salad. Riesling style wine is great complement to the meal.

Creole Catfish Fillets

Great recipe! Grilled on grill tray covered with foil and heavily sprayed with PAM. Did not stick! Served with fresh lima beans, salad, and Blue Dog wine. If using red fish, grill for 12 minutes on medium heat.

Kielbasa and Cabbage

Cooked slowly for 1 hour. Chopped cabbage as suggested, used 1/2 as much sugar as called for, cut Kielbasa in rings and browned before adding to cabbage mixture for the last 15-20 minutes. Do not reduce amt. of caraway seeds. Served with oven roasted potatoes and dark beer.

Asparagus with Parmesan Crust

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham
