Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2007
Left out the onion powder because I didn't have any. What a fantastic recipe! This is so quick to make, and tastes very authentic.

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
This was a tasty veggie lasagna. I added some spinach to the vegies but otherwise made as is. I thought this was a bit too cheesy so next time I will reduce the cheese but otherwise it was a decent lasagna.

Indian Dahl with Spinach

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
I made this for dinner tonight and used half pound frozen spinach but otherwise made the recipe as written. I enjoyed it but like others, felt it could of used more flavour. Next time I will add some more spices or use stock instead of water.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2006
I doubled the sauce as suggested and found the ginger and rice wine overwhelming and could not finish it. May make again with correct measurements.

Aloo Phujia

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
This was tasty. I used canned tomatoes instead of fresh and halved the amount of cayenne pepper. My only complaint is the potatoes took a lot longer than 20 mins. Mine took about 40 mins.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
My first batch was baked at 8 minutes and was very undercooked. I waited for them to become firmer but they simply flattened and then fell apart and were thrown out. Second batch was baked for 10 minutes and they were only slightly firmer and very crumbly. Ok taste but a little on the sickly sweet side for me and very oily - too much butter.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
Great comfort food. I coated the beef with flour, salt, pepper and dried rosemary and fried in olive oil until just browned. Then threw it in the pot with everything else (except potatoes) and simmered for 1 hour. Served with mashed potatoes. Delicious.
