Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Super easy, and delicious when warm! The dough is dense, but the muffins turn out great! I used 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, in place of the seperate spices listed. They still turned out great!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

This was the first year I made candy ever (for Christmas) and I tried this recipe. This is hands down, the BEST AND EASIEST toffee!!! I shipped it to friends and family, and got RAVE reviews all around. Pay close attention to the temp. I pulled my toffee as soon as it hit the hard crack stage. It was smooth, and melted in your mouth. This is now going to be part of my Christmas tradions!

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

I followed this recipe exactly, and it I think I overbaked it or something. It came out really dense, and had too much molasses for my taste. I will try this again though!

Peppermint Bark

Perfect amount of peppermint and chocolate. I use Giradelli for the best bark! Next time I am going to use a larger pan, for thinner bark, since mine came out pretty thick. It was still delicious though!

Banana Crumb Muffins

I only wish I could rate these higher!!! Moist, with a slight strusel crunch! These did not last long in my house! Great snack for the kids or a treat in their lunchbox!

Burnt Butter Frosting

This was easy to make (just keep a constant eye on the butter) but it didn't taste very good. My kids LOVED it however. It sets up quickly, so frost and sprinkle asap.

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

I am so PROUD of myself! I have NEVER made candy before, but this was soo easy! I messed up my first batch by pulling it off the stove BEFORE it reached the hard crack stage (300) It tasted great but would get stuck on your teeth. I decided to try it again. I waited for 300 exactly, and It tastes better then store bought, is perfectly crunchy, and a beautiful amber color! I left our the salt in both batches, and it still tastes great! GO ME!!!

Ono Butter Mochi

I followed the recipe to a "T" , it looked and smelled wonderful... The taste however. I don't know what kind of texture it's supposed to have, but mine came out really firm and kind of gel-like. Not a big hit. Too bad, it smelled soo good....3 stars for the smell and appearance...

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage

AWESOME!! SUPER easy to make and even my picky husband loved it!! I left out the wine (didn't have any on hand) and the onions (my husband HATES them) but added a little onion powder. Turned out great!!!!
