loved, loved, loved this recipe. Made a few modifications: cut chix breasts in 1/2 lengthwise so had to dble cheese and ham. Also, dredged chix ensemble in egg, then bread crumbs w paprika. slightly browned in oil & butter, transferred to dish and baked 35 minutes w a little chicken broth base. Near end of cooking time, scraped bits from browning pan with remaining chix broth. threw in some fresh sliced mushrooms, light boiled down til rooms were tender, mixed 1 tbl floor (since i didnt have cornstarch) and 1 C heavy cream and added to broth. yum yum yum. a little time consuming, but well worth it.
