Mama's Best Ever Spaghetti and Meatballs

This was a great recipe to follow. However I hadded a lot of zip to mine with chile flakes and hot sauce. I also cooked teh meatballs out of the sauce so I could drain the little bit of fat that did come off them. Adding vegetables made the sauce a lot thicker and heartier.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

I thought this was a great recipe as did all my guests. However I would consider broiling a fort cheddar cheese on top, right at the end, as well as adding sundried tomoatos.

I absolutely loved these! They were a huge success at my New Years party! I didn't have access to a bbq at the time so I baked and broiled instead and it turned out jsut as great! I cannot wait to try them on the bbq

Party Pinwheels

These were a huge hit! However I did make a lot of changes to this recipe. I got rid of the olives and added calabrese to add a bit of zip and texture. I also did not add the ranch dressing mix and instead added garlic powder, chili flakes and dijon mustard to taste.

Strawberry Ricotta Stuffed Whole Grain French Toast

My family loved this recipe! THinks for helping me become the holiday chef with the rave reviews! I changed the strawberries to raspberries and blueberries and added cinnamon to the ricotta and sugar filling.

I changed the cheese to feta and goat. This was a great recipe to follow however and loved the idea. It was a hit for christmas eve dinner apps and was asked to email it to a few relatives!

Brussels Sprouts and Chestnuts

This was good, however in the future I will consider soaking the brussel sprouts in orange slices and juice the night before cooking. The orange flavour wasn't taken on by the sprouts the way I was hoping until the day after

Best-Ever Cornbread-Sausage Stuffing

This was a delicious stuffing recipe. I used chorizo for the sausage and actually stuffed boneless leg of lamb with it. The cornbread and spicey chorizo went great with the delicate taste of the lamb

Asparagus Wrapped in Crisp Prosciutto

I cook this side/app probably at least once a week, except if you love goat cheese as much as I do make sure to spread goat cheese on the prosciutto before wrapping it around the asparagus! Also it helps to blanch the asparagus before putting it on the grill which I highly recommend over baking it
