I love to cook!! I love trying new foods and new recipes to foods I already know and love. I can will cook just about anything but I love working with cheesecakes and different kinds of cookies and cakes, the trickier the better as I always love a good challenge. It began as "Grandma's" tradition but now has become one I have followed. At Christmas time to bake over 40 varieties of cookies and bars to make in miniature and give in boxes to all friends and family as gifts. Well my Father told me last year that he thought my cookies were so good he thought his mother made them... "Grandma's Cookies" She was the best so if people think I am that good at it by now then that would have to be my #1 triumph. My largest tragedy was a LARGE pan of lasagna, it was perfect until I fell asleep while it was in the oven at 300 for more then 8 hours as I was wiped out from a very long week... the smoke alarm woke me up. Each layer was burned and all pasta was mush...... it was for a company lunch day and it was my turn to make lunch....... ya it was my largest cooking nightmare come true....
